Abstract

Abstract: For the relative ease with which we may currently use technology, we owe a significant debt to the discoveries of Muslim and western scientists, whose combined efforts have been a driving force in the growth of science and human civilisation over the past several decades. This article seeks to examine the contributions of Muslim scientists and the outcomes of their research to the advancement of scientific knowledge. Reading about the function of Muslim scholars through books, scholarly papers, and other written resources constitutes library research. Through the pairing of pertinent Qur'anic verses, the discourse illuminates the contributions of Muslim scholars and their discoveries to the global development of science and culture and the Islamic perspective on technological advancement.Keywords: Islamic education, Muslim Scholars, TechnologyAbstrak: Kemudahan teknologi yang saat ini kita rasakan tidak terlepas dari penemuan para ilmuwan muslim dan barat serta dari penemuan-penemuan yang mereka teliti sehingga dapat menjadi pendorong kemajuan sains dan peradaban dunia saat ini. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran para ilmuwan muslim dan hasil penelitian mereka yang mendorong kemajuan sains dan ilmu pengetahuan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi pustakan (library research) dengan mengkaji dari berbagai literatur seperti buku, makalah dan artikel ilmiah yang terkait dengan peran dari cendekiawan muslim. Hasil pembahasannya mencakup peran cendekiawan muslim dan penemuannya yang membantu kemajuan sanis dan peradaban dunia, pandangan islam terhadap teknologi  dengan mengaitkan ayat-ayat al-qur’an yang selaras dengan topik yang dibahas.Kata kunci: Pendidikan Islam, Teknologi, Cendekiawan Muslim

Abstract

Diversity in life is the difference made into wealth and a path to unity. However, the problem that often occurs is the division caused by each side elevating its religion and culture. The lack of tolerance among religious communities, which is still insufficient, also serves as a trigger for conflicts, both individual and group-based. This research aims to understand the role and implementation of FKUB in the Wonosobo Regency in uniting differences or mediating interfaith issues through social activities conducted. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was conducted through field observations, interviews, and documentation. The data source in this study is the FKUB supervisor, who is the authority that provides policies. The result of this research is that the FKUB of Wonosobo Regency collaborates with community leaders and religious figures to foster interfaith harmony through social activities such as community nights, interfaith youth futsal, and harmony walk events.
