<![CDATA[One of the problem factors when entering school is in choosing a major, many prospective students feel confused in determining which major to choose. The majors available at SMK Negeri 1 Mandor include Multimedia, Metal Crafts, Wood Crafts, Electrical Installation and Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering. The electre method is a method that can produce decisions by comparing alternatives in pairs on the same criteria. The alternative used in this study is prospective students and the criteria used are the results of the national exam, school entrance test scores and specialization. The purpose of this research is to provide convenience in determining the majors according to the value of abilities and interests. Testing is done by means of black box testing and comparing the results of manual calculations with the recommendation system. The result of this research is in the form of the list of prospective students who are included in a chosen major. Several factors that influence in determining the decision are the criteria factor, the number of criteria and the weight of the criteria. ELECTRE generates recommendations for majors by looking at the value of the aggregation matrix that has been formed where to get the results of the aggregation matrix majors (E) giving a sequence of choices in each alternative, if the value of Alternative A which has the number of Ekl worth at least 1 can be eliminated, thus the best alternative is which dominates the other alternatives by having the most Ekl of 1 value.
