Abstract

Abstract: This paper is a theological analysis for holding a youth worship meeting which is held once every two weeks face to face. So the authors want to conduct research scientifically by studying the "Role of Youth Coaches for the development of the behavior of the GMIM Golgotha Youth congregation For Youth Fosters, Youth Fosters. Youth Coaches have a very strategic role to be able to develop potential in the future growth and development of Youth. However, youth coaches must have very specific requirements or criteria, namely a youth coach before entering the world of youth service is someone who already has a new life, meaning that a youth coach has had a new life first. So that the life of a youth coach will become a role model or role model / public figure for their students. With the way of life that is shown in the daily life of youth guidance, such as diligently reading the Bible, diligently praying and diligently participating in fellowship, it will become a living sermon for the lives of teenagers, because strong preaching today is no longer in the form of advice / words but is the behavior / behavior displayed by the youth coach. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, where the data obtained is in the form of explanations of concepts or text and not numbers. The results of the study concluded that the role of youth coaches for the development of adolescent behavior is able to develop behavioral potential to shape the character of adolescents by building all abilities and abilities of youth coaches by building partnerships related to all aspects of church service in a holistic manner."

Abstract

This paper is a theological analysis of the current post-modern situation and conditions showing that there has been a degradation of moral quality in the Indonesian nation, especially in hildren. Many aspects affect the symptoms of moral degradation.The role of parents in motivating Sunday School Children to Worship is not paying enough attention, marked by the lack of children attending worship/child services at the church or happy cottage. The use of less creative learning methods using only one method makes children uninteresting to hear stories and come to the children's service. Then the funding for Sunday School development did not get the attention of the church council, causing Sunday school teachers to go up and down the house to sell groceries to finance Sunday school activities.Christian religious education in moral formation essentially brings a spiritual change for the better (cognitive), which educates, teaches, and achieves a business with a future goal of noble character and fear of God. The moral formation of Sunday school children can be given formally in schools, non-formally in the church environment, namely the assembly, Sunday school teachers and informally in the family as the spearhead in the moral formation of children. These educators are required to be more creative in formulating learning patterns, methods, learning curricula and provide more funding to advance and develop Sunday school. In the application that very important role is 'exemplary' in everyday life, both the example that has been given by God Jesus as a great teacher, an example that is formally displayed by PAK; informal, and informal as well as the application of the 'dining table theory' as exemplified by the Lord Jesus. Of course, all of this cannot be separated from adjusting to the needs and growth and development of children according to conditions and characteristics in a holistic, effective and creative way.This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, where the data obtained are in the form of an explanation of the concept or text and not numbers. The results of the study concluded that the role of Christian religious education on the moral formation of Sunday school children in the GMIM Golgotha congregation was able to develop the potential of Sunday school teachers to create the method of "Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning in organizing Sunday school worship, building holistic service partnerships"

Abstract

This paper is a theological analysis of the situation during the Covid 19 pandemic where the church is not ready to serve the congregation, let alone to hold a Sunday School Children's worship meeting which is held two or three times a week. This will reduce the quality and quality of faith that is loose in the growth and development of faith in Sunday school children. So that the author wants to conduct scientific research during the Covid 19 pandemic by examining "What strategies should be done to maintain the character of the faith of the Sunday School children of the GMIM Golgota congregation during the Covid 19 pandemic.For Sunday school teachers, teachers fail to keep children's attention to focus on the story of God's Word. Within the duration of 10 minutes the children in question were already flying or sleeping. This incident is an anomaly that the learning model or learning method used by Sunday school teachers from across the country has failed to maintain children's interest in worshiping online. In theory, the psychology of the learning process of Sunday school children can only focus on 15 minutes of learning, but the above fact is even shorter (10 minutes), so to be able to maintain Sunday school children's attention on Sunday school worship learning materials, appropriate teaching methods are needed.Parents fail to instill positive Christian attitudes in their children. Why is that ? This illustration shows that the child does not have social merit in following online Worship. Yes, the teacher who teaches far away. Surely there are also many other children who attend Sunday school worship but the child does not hesitate to lift his legs, sleep on a chair and end up literally fast asleep in a chair that should not be a bed. The incident above illustrates how parents fail to educate manners.This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, where the data obtained were in the form of explanations of concepts or text instead of numbers. The results of the study concluded that the strategy of Sunday school teachers to maintain the faith character of Sunday school children in the Gmim Golgota congregation during the COVID-19 pandemic was able to develop the potential of Sunday school teachers to create a method of “Active, Creative, Effective, and Fun Learning in arranging Sunday school worship, building partnerships. holistic stewardship "
