Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the coffee farming and processing by Coffee Farmers in Yagara Village, Walesi District, Jayawijaya Regency, Papua. This research was conducted from September 2019 to November 2019. A sample of 20 respondents was selected using the simple random sampling method. Data analysis method used was descriptive method.The results showed that farming and processing of coffee beans including harvesting, stripping wet beans, fermentation, washing, drying and sorting of coffee beans in Yagara Village were still done traditionally.Keywords: coffee, farming, processing

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine how much the contribution of the ornamental plant business in the yard to family income in Kakaskasen Dua Village, North Tomohon Sub District. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, The primary data used the census method with 8 respondents. Secondary data were obtained through direct interviews with 8 respondents and related parties to the study using a questionnaire and secondary data were obtained from the internet, the Central Bureau of Statistics of Tomohon City, and various literatures related to this study. The research results showed that the contribution that the ornamental plant business in the yard contributed to family income was 48.3%. The amount of income obtained from the ornamental plant business in the yard has an average of Rp. 3,584,852 and the average income outside the ornamental plant business is Rp. 3,831,250 with a contribution of 51.7%. This shows that the ornamental plant business in the yard has a large contribution to family income.Keywords: Contribution, Income, Ornamental Plant Business, Yard

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the profits of “Captikus” (local alcoholic drinks) business in Poopo Village, East Passi District. This research was conducted for three months, from October to December 2020. The sampling method used was purposive sampling, to select 20 captikus producer as respondents. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by conducting direct interviews with producers using a list of questions that had been prepared. Secondary data were obtained from agencies involved in this study. The data analysis used in this research is business profit analysis.The results showed that the “captikus” producers in West Poopo Village, East Passi District, on average got a profit of IDR 2,332,379, - / month. The R / C value for the “captikus” business in this village was 1,96. This showed that the “captikus” business in Poopo Barat Village, East Passi District can continue to be developed because it will provide adequate benefits for “captikus” producers.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to determine how the performance of agricultural extension workers during the Covid-19 pandemic in West Langowan Sub District. This research was conducted from March to June 2021. The data collected in this study were primary data sourced from observations and direct interviews with respondents in the form of a list of questions (questionnaires). Analysis of the data used in this study is descriptive analysis, and to determine the level of performance of agricultural instructors used a Likert scale. The research results showed that the level of performance of agricultural extension workers in West Langowan District during the Covid-19 pandemic was relatively high, measured from the preparation, implementation, evaluation and reporting of extension. Extension activities during the Covid-19 pandemic, agricultural extension workers continue to carry out counseling such as direct visits to farmers. Changes in extension activities, namely mass counseling have been reduced, the frequency of visits to farmers is limited, the distribution of material is minimized and using via telephone (WhatsApp/Zoom) for coaching methods.
