Abstract

Abstract:. This research aims to improve the student learning output in science subject by utilizing cooperativemodel of student teams achievement division (STAD) type at the fifth class B of elementary school 1 Sidokerto district Bumiratu Nuban. This study was a classroom action research. The results showed that the type cooperative learning model student teams achievement division (STAD) can improve students' learning activities, judging from the average percentage of student learning activities in the first cycle of 77% and 85.5% the second cycle. The implementation of cooperative learning model type of student teams’ achievement division (STAD) may also increase the thoroughness of learning outcomes IPA. The percentage of students who complete the first cycle is 62.5% and the second cycle is 90.63% and an increase in the average score of N-Gain.Keywords: Learning Achievement, Cooperative STAD Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas VB SDN1 Sidokerto Kecamatan Bumiratu Nuban dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative tipe student teams achievement division (STAD).Penelitian ini termasuk dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran cooperative  tipe student teams achievement division (STAD) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa, dilihat dari rata-rata persentase aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 77% dan siklus II 85,5%. Penerapan model pembelajaran cooperative  tipe student teams achievement division (STAD)juga dapat meningkatkan ketuntasan hasil belajar IPA. Persentase siswa yang tuntaspada siklus I sebesar 62,5% dan siklus II sebesar 90,63% dan terjadi peningkatan pada skor rata-rata N-Gain.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Cooperative tipe student teams achievement division (STAD).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of utilization of the media in conducting learning related to space, making spatial literacy of students less explored. In addition, students tend to be more passive and bored quickly when the teacher in delivering learning comes only from the student's textbook. The lack of understanding of students' spatial literacy, in the end causes students to be less careful in making decisions and also solving spatial problems that occur in everyday life. This research was conducted related to the effectiveness of media maps in social studies learning in class V students of elementary schools in Metro City. The purpose of this study was to provide an understanding of students' spatial literacy, especially in material related to space in social studies subjects. The type of this study is quasi-experimental research using the design of nonequivalent groups pre test-post test from Fraenkel and Wallen. The design of nonequivalent groups pre test - post test was started by setting the experimental group and the control group, then doing the pre test, followed by giving treatment to the two classes and ending with a post test. The subjects in this study were fifth grade elementary school students in Metro City. Data collection techniques in the form of tests. The research instrument is a spatial literacy test sheet. Data were analyzed using normality test and Mann Whitney test. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of using media maps in social studies learning can provide an understanding of spatial literacy of fifth grade elementary school students in Metro City. This can be seen from the increase in the correct number of each indicator of spatial literacy that is given in the form of determining the location, identifying spatial orientation, determining the closest distance and identifying objects through symbols on the map. The results of this study can be a suggestion for teachers and schools to continue to facilitate social studies learning with appropriate media, especially media maps for material related to space, so as to provide students with more understanding of spatial literacy. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas kontrol terhadap kualitas permukaan lembaran baja tahan karat yang mengalami pengelasan resistansi titik sehingga perlu diperhatikan dengan mengamati bentuk dan ukuran nugget yang dihasilkan serta mempelajari sifat dan tegangan tarik. Material yang digunakan SUS 304 (JIS G 4303) tebal 2 mm, selanjutnya dilakukan pengelasan resistansi titik dengan kuat arus sebesar 10,5 kA dan variasi welding time yang digunakan yaitu 0,28 detik ; 0,32 detik ; 0,36 detik ; 0,40 detik dan 0,44 detik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diameter nugget terlihat semakin besar berdasarkan variasi welding time yang digunakan, hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh heat input yang dibangkitkan. Nugget yang paling besar dihasilkan pada variasi welding time 0,44 detik dengan nilai sebesar 7,73 mm, sedangkan untuk nilai tegangan tarik yang paling tinggi didapatkan pada welding time 0,44 detik dengan nilai sebesar 713,06 N/mm2.

Abstract

The influence of interactive multimedia to the learning achievement of fourth grade elementary students. This study aims to determine the effect of interactive multimedia Adobe flash to the learning achievement of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Glagah Yogyakarta in the integrative thematic learning subtema “Hebatnya Cita-Citaku” and evaluate the response of learners after applying Adobe Flash interactive multimedia. The study design used the nonequivalent control group. This research subjects in the experimental class is 30 Students of fourth grade and the control class is 29 Students of fourth grade in SD Negeri Glagah. The research instrument were interview, questionnaire responses of teachers, learners’ questionnaire responses, and test questions. Data were analyzed using independent sample t test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that Adobe Flash interactive multimedia provide significant impact on the learning outcomes of students. There are differences in the outcome between the experimental class and control class after using Adobe Flash interactive multimedia p < 0.05, then there is also a significant increase with p = 0.005.  Keywords: interactive multimedia, learning outcomes, thematic integrative, scientific approachDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v7.i1.201701
