Abstract

The low achievement of the target of acetic acid visual inspection (IVA) shows that women of childbearing age (WUS) still receive little education about cervical cancer. The use of pocket book media has not shown the results of achieving the IVA examination target. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of educational videos on early detection of cervical cancer on WUS's motivation to conduct IVA examinations in the Susukan area, East Jakarta. The research method used is quasi-experimental, carried out from May to June 2023 in the Susukan area of East Jakarta. The size of the research sample was 30 subjects obtained from the Lameshow formula. Interest scores before and after the provision of cervical cancer animation education were measured using a questionnaire of 20 questions. Data analysis using paired T test. The results showed that providing educational videos for early detection of cervical cancer increased WUS motivation in IVA examination (p = 0.007). Increased motivation score by 6.37. Cervical cancer education using animated videos can be used by midwives in increasing WUS interest in IVA examination. Educational videos on early detection of cervical cancer are more efficiently accepted by the public than pocket books.

Abstract

In the Maternal and Child Health Profile, the percentage of exclusive breastfeeding for babies 0-6 months in 2020 was 69.62%. The percentage of DKI Jakarta's exclusive provision of breast milk (ASI) is the lowest on the island of Java in 2021. Optimal breastfeeding can prevent more than 823,000 child deaths & 20,000 maternal deaths every year. A decrease in exclusive breastfeeding often occurs when the baby is three months old because the mother returns to work after maternity leave. This study aims to determine the relationship between husband's support, workplace facilities and work duration on the success of exclusive breastfeeding among working mothers at the main Anny Rahardjo clinic, East Jakarta. 2023. This research is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were working breastfeeding mothers aged 7-12 years who were examined at the main Anny Rahardjo clinic in the period July-December 2023. The sample size in this study was determined as mentioned using a total sampling of 132 respondents. The data analysis used was using the Chi square statistical test. There is a significant relationship between husband's support, facilities at work and duration of work on the success of exclusive breastfeeding for working mothers at the main Anny Rahardjo clinic, East Jakarta in 2023 with the results of husband's support, p value = (0.003), facilities at work p value = (0.002), and duration of work p value = (0.005). There is a relationship between husband's support, workplace facilities and work duration on the success of exclusive breastfeeding for working mothers at the main Anny Rahardjo clinic, East Jakarta.

Abstract

Economic growth is an increase in the value and amount of production of goods and services calculated by a country within a certain period of time. Midwifery graduates can practice conventionally or complementaryly. Entrepreneurship is an important element in economic development. The aim of the research is to determine differences in age, education, training and knowledge in complementary midwifery practice entrepreneurs in Ciracas sub-district. This research is a quantitative analytical research using a cross sectional approach. The total population in this study was 64 midwives. The researcher took samples using a total sampling technique in Ciracas sub-district in 2023. This research was conducted during September – October 2023. Research analysis used chi squer. The results of this research show that there is a significant difference between age (pValue: 0.403), education (pValue: 0.037), training (pValue: 0.018) and there is no significant difference between knowledge (pValue: 0.098) and complementary practice entrepreneurship in midwife in the Ciracas sub-district area. The conclusion of this research is that there are significant differences between age, education and training and entrepreneurship in the complementary practices of midwives. It is recommended in this research that midwives continue to increase their knowledge about complementary midwifery to be motivated to practice complementary midwifery services.

Abstract

Posyandu is a public health service effort that has the main priority of accelerating the reduction in maternal and child mortality rates. A visit from a toddler's mother is very important for toddlers. There are several impacts experienced by toddlers if they are not active in posyandu activities. The aim of this research is the difference in age, education and occupation of mothers who have children under five with the behavior of mothers visiting posyandu in RW 17 Cileungsi Village, Cileungsi District, Bogor Regency in 2024. This research is a quantitative analytical research using a cross sectional study time approach carried out in RW 17 Cileungsi Village, Cileungsi District, Bogor Regency in December 2024. The sample in this study was 60 respondents. The research instrument uses primary data, namely interviews and questionnaires. The results of the research show that there are differences in education and employment of mothers who have children under five and visits to the posyandu, respectively, the chisquare test value is p value = 0.012, p value = 0.005 (p < 0.05). On the other hand, there was no difference in the age of mothers who had toddlers and visits to posyandu, with a chi-square test value of p value = 0.871 (p > 0.05). This shows that increasing awareness through education and work is very important to encourage mothers to take toddlers to posyandu
