Abstract

The problems discussed in this paper is about the nature of dakwah and communication and point of contact between the two, the position of radio as a medium of communication to convey messages of dakwah, as well as the effectiveness of the delivery of dakwah messages through radio. This paper concludes, effective dakwah messages delivered via radio, supported by radio producer with the announcers who are capable of processing dakwah material efficiently and effectively, educative, sensitive, and entertaining. The message should be the needs of the listener, at a minimum be able to attract them. The language used should be thoroughly understood by the listener with sound quality that is clear and effective. Given public radio listeners cannot be limited, dakwah radio need to pay attention to diversity of listeners in terms of ethnicity, religion, race and class. The dakwah messages is inclusive, soothing and able to provide solutions to the problems of public life as a characteristic of Islam that rahmatan lil Alamin important to be used as broadcast. From here it is possible that dakwah over radio will be favored so as to encourage more people to accept and practice the teachings of Islam.Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam tulisan ini adalah mengenai hakikat dakwah dan komunikasi dan titik singgung antara keduanya, kedudukan radio sebagai media komunikasi untuk menyampaikan pesan dakwah, serta efektivitas penyampaian pesan dakwah melalui radio. Tulisan ini menyimpulkan, pesan-pesan dakwah efektif disampaikan melalui radio, dengan didukung produser radio bersama para penyiarnya yang mampu mengolah bahan siaran dakwah secara efisien dan efektif, mendidik, menyadarkan, sekaligus menghibur. Pesan tersebut harus menjadi kebutuhan pendengar, minimal mampu menarik minat mereka. Bahasa yang digunakan harus benar-benar dipahami oleh pendengar dengan kualitas suara yang jelas dan efektif. Mengingat masyarakat pendengar radio tidak bisa dibatasi, radio dakwah perlu memperhatikan keragaman pendengarnya baik di segi suku, agama, ras dan golongan. Pesan-pesan dakwah yang bersifat inklusif, menyejukkan hati dan mampu memberikan solusi terhadap problema kehidupan masyarakat sebagai ciri khas agama Islam yang rahmatan lil ’alamin penting untuk dijadikan bahan siaran. Dari sini tidak mustahil dakwah melalui radio akan disenangi sehingga mendorong orang untuk lebih menerima dan mengamalkan ajaran Islam.

Abstract

South Kalimantan has many private radio stations, and even the number reached 16 pieces. Most private radio stations, there were also broadcast events nuanced propaganda or propagation of Islam, but the percentage is very small. Her shows are more regular lectures by replaying tapes of local scholars lecture, recitation of the Quran regularly, azan Maghrib and playback song as Islamic. Less encountered events propaganda treated seriously by the team work through the production process. Even some of the radio broadcast events only Christianity and not explicitly include event propagation of Islam. Turns out all that much due to the status of radios, such as the private commercial radio, and its owners are generally among the Chinese non-Muslims, and there are very few Muslim businessmen who want to plunge into the radio business.Keywords: da’wa, private commercial radio, broadcastingKalimantan Selatan memiliki banyak radio swasta, bahkan jumlahnya mencapai 16 buah. Kebanyakan radio-radio swasta tersebut ada juga menyiarkan acara-acara dakwah atau bernuansa dakwah Islam, namun persentasinya sangat kecil. Acara-acaranya lebih bersifat ceramah rutin dengan memutar ulang kaset-kaset rekaman ceramah ulama lokal, pengajian Alquran rutin, adzan Maghrib serta pemutaran lagu-lagu bernuansa islami. Kurang ditemui acara-acara dakwah yang diolah secara sungguh-sungguh oleh tim kerja melalui proses produksi. Bahkan beberapa radio hanya menyiarkan acara agama Kristen dan tidak secara eksplisit mencantumkan acara dakwah Islam. Ternyata semua itu banyak disebabkan oleh status radio-radio tersebut sebagai radio swasta niaga, dan pemiliknya yang umumnya kalangan Tionghoa nonmuslim, dan sedikit sekali ada pengusaha muslim yang mau terjun ke dalam bisnis radio.Kata kunci: dakwah, radio swasta niaga, siaran.

Abstract

This journal addresses the topic of radio and television broadcasts which are mostly filled with dangdut songs and other events which are sometimes not in accordance with religious norms and regulations in the broadcasting sector. This is indicated by the presence of a number of songs that were hit by reprimand, both by the MUI, the KPID and from the sworddut itself. The problem here is what songs have been broadcast by radio / television and then reprimanded by the authorities, and what songs should be the contents of radio or television broadcasts that are positively charged and educative. This journal is indeed a number of songs that have been banned from being broadcast by radio or television, both because of the lyrics / poetry and the erotic movements of the singers which are categorized as containing pornography and porno-action. Songs should be created and broadcast in line with religious values, customs and regulations, without losing their artistic value, including regional songs. Such songs will be eternal, even though the creator or singer is gone

Pesan-pesan dakwah yang bersifat inklusif, menyejukkan hati dan mampu memberikan solusi terhadap problema kehidupan masyarakat sebagai ciri khas agama Islam yang rahmatan lil ?alamin penting untuk dijadikan bahan siaran.
