Abstract

This analysis aims to describe the social values ​​contained in the novel "Rembulan Drowning in Your Face" by Tere-Liye. The approach used in this study is a sociological approach. This sociological approach is a type of literary analysis approach that focuses on the social role contained in the social world. This approach assumes that literary works belong to the community. According to Ratna (2013: 60) a sociological approach, especially for Indonesian literature, both old and modern promises research land that will never dry up. Every work, both on a scale and individual scale, has certain social aspects that can be discussed through social understanding models. The sociological approach also has methodological implications in the form of a fundamental understanding of human life in society. This analysis technique begins by revealing social problems that occur in the world of storytelling novels. The results of the analysis show that the novel "Rembulan Drowned in Your Face" is a novel that illustrates that in life what happens is often not in accordance with what we expect, the opportunity to be able to find answers to five questions obtained by the main character (Ray) shows that often the loss and pain we face in life save so many good things that we often don't realize.

Abstract

Morphology is the study of words. Morphemes are the minimal units of words that have a meaning and can not be subdivided further. There are two main types: free and bound. Morpheme is article includes a listof references, but its sources remain unclear because it has insufficient.Therefore the researchers conducted the research about morpheme. The research methode that was used is decriptive qualitative method. To gain the data the researchers used literature review in which the data gained from dictionary. Every morpheme can be classified as either free or bound. Bound morphemes can be further classified as derivational or inflectional. These categories are mutually exclusive, and as such, a given morpheme will belong to exactly one of them. Free morphemes can function independently as words. Bound morphemes appear only as part us of words, always in conjunction with a root and sometimes with other bound morphemes.

Abstract

This paper amis to analyze the learning semantic in English conversation, learning semantic which is a part of applied linguistic that focuses on the meaning, In addition there are manythigs toknow about semantic in English conversation what the important is, when the communication will not be able to deliver well which are about culture, accent, country. They are some aspects that we have to study about semantic in English conversation, in this paper, the writer use method of the research by using qualitative that is about the people habbit and when they have to communicate each othe. Because English is an international language, all of people should be able to communicate in English to express or mention something, to study abroad, to write an international paper, to join a conference, they need this language to do it.
