Abstract

Abuses that are happening in Indonesia, even in educational institutions, which are places of self-development, are bullying. There is no protection for victims of bullying and even worse, sometimes educational institutions try to close the case so that the name of the school is not ruined. Prevention and handling of bullying is not only the role of educational institutions, but also the responsibility of parents, teachers, school staff and also the general public. All parties need to know that bullying is not an act of children that needs to be understood. The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA) hopes that the case can be resolved with Restorative Justice according to what is mentioned in Act Number 11/2012 on the Child Criminal Justice System by resolving the case through diversion. One role that implements diversion is the Probation Officer. Probation Officers have the tasks and functions to help children who commit criminal offenses by seeking information to achieve diversion from the start of diversion on demand by investigators through a complete community information report compiled by the Probation Officer. The role of Probation Officer is divided into 3 stages, i.e. the stage before the court session (Pre-adjudication), the stage during the court session (adjudication) and the stage after the court (post-adjudication). The role of Probation Officer for Children Who Are Faced the Law is very important and necessary, this is because Probation Officers have their techniques and methods for handling Children Who Are Faced the Law which are based on regulations.

Abstract

As the next generation of the nation, a child creates their own personality based on the environment they live in. The social environment has a powerful influence compared to the family, this social environment can change the child's personality to be bad. An example that can be taken is that drug dealers are targeting children to consume and become drug couriers so that the level of child involvement in consuming and becoming drug couriers is quite high in Indonesia. In a court that involves children, Probation Officers have a significant role and function such as Counselling, Monitoring and Guiding for Children Who Are Faced with the Law according to regulations. The Probation Officer should collect some information about Children Who Are Faced the Law, then in the development or social mentoring, the Probation Officer encourages Children Who Are Faced the Law to be able to return to normal activities without any negative things that can cause the child to fall back into digression. Probation Officers have a function and role which are important for the development of Children Who Are Faced the Law so that they can return to their role as children who are useful for the future.

Abstract

Technology can have both good and bad effects depending on how each person uses the technology. There are minors who abuse technology in cyberspace so as to cause criminal acts (Cybercrime), one of them is revenge porn. One of the competent parties to be presented in cases of Children Who Are Faced the Law is Probation Officer. Probation Officers have tasks and functions to facilitate children who commit criminal offenses. There are 3 (three) stages of dealing with Children Who Are Faced the Law by Probation Officer, i.e. before the trial, during the trial and after the trial. The treatment process carried out by the Probation Officer can hopefully make a change to the Children Who Are Faced the Law to have a better direction and have a deterrent effect on the actions they take, especially about pornographic content which has a very strong effect on the victim. Probation Officers have an important task and role in handling cases of children in conflict with the law or in this research is the case of children who spread pornographic content without the consent of the other party (Revenge Porn). This Probation Officer has protected Children Who Are Faced the Law based on regulations.
