Abstract

This community service activity aims to accelerate economic transformation in Malala Village through collaboration with the digital platform Draiv Food. The primary focus of this activity is empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and creating job opportunities for villagers. During its implementation, local business actors received entrepreneurship training, mentoring in the business digitalization process, and support for wider market access through the Draiv Food application. The results of the DRAIV application socialization have positively impacted the community. Through this activity, the community now realizes and understands the function and benefits of the DRAIV application as a local digital service. In addition, this activity also creates new job opportunities, especially for the younger generation interested in becoming delivery partners or digital entrepreneurs. With support from the village government and relevant officials, the use of DRAIV is further strengthened as an effort to move towards an independent and technology-based village.

Abstract

This community service aims to analyse the role of education in empowering women to increase environmental awareness and civic participation among the Sese Village community. Women's involvement in realising sustainable village development is low. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, activities were implemented in counselling, training, and mentoring for village women's groups. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation of activities. The study results indicate that structured and participatory education can increase women's understanding and awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and their role in social community activities, such as waste management, reforestation, and village deliberations. This education also strengthens women's roles as drivers of change in the family and the surrounding environment. Thus, women's empowerment education activities have proven effective in fostering environmental awareness and increasing civic participation, and can be used as a strategy to support participatory-based village development.
