Abstract

Vocabulary is important in communication the students who are capable in mastering vocabulary will be easy to understand English text. they will easily understand the contents of the text. However, many students do not master it, including students who live in Nglaban. This guidance aims to help those students, and the results of the guidance can be concluded that the assistance in learning English for class II MI/SD students in Nglaban using drill method, and game techniques and picture is very effective and has a positive impact, the students vocabulary seems increased significantly, because it can be seen from the comparison of pretest and posttest values with the paired sample test that the results are t count > t table (6, 689 > 2, 16037, this means the learning is successful.

Abstract

Reading is very important to master because reading can open a window to the world, especially reading English texts where many important sources of information are written in English. This assistance aims to help students at the al Urwatul Wutsqo Bulurejo Jombang Islamic boarding school to improve their English reading skills. The results of the mentoring were very positive where there was an increase in reading skills with an average reading score of 47.81 before the implementation of QARs and 68.75 afterward. Likewise, from the paired sample test, the t count is greater than the t table (17.073 > 2.1199).

Abstract

Motivation plays a crucial role in achieving various objectives across economic, religious, educational, and linguistic domains. This study specifically examined whether sholawat songs—Islamic devotional songs—influence students' motivation to learn speaking. Employing a quantitative research methodology, the researcher collected data through questionnaires distributed to participants. Subsequently, the data underwent analysis using simple linear regression to determine the relationship between the two variables. The research findings demonstrated that sholawat songs effectively enhance students' motivation for speaking learning. The statistical analysis revealed significant results through multiple measures. When comparing the t-counted value with the t-table value, the result (3.463 > 2.045) indicated statistical significance. Similarly, the p-value analysis (0.002 < 0.05) further confirmed the significance of the regression coefficient. These results collectively demonstrate that the relationship between sholawat songs and speaking motivation is statistically meaningful and not merely due to chance. Therefore, incorporating sholawat songs into language learning curricula may effectively boost student engagement and motivation in developing speaking skills

Abstract

Abstraction is an important thing in a scientific work, by reading it you can find out what things are in the content of a scientific paper. However, creating abstractions is not easy. The aim of this counseling is to make it easier for STIT al Urwatul Wutsqo Jombang students to be able to understand how to translate abstracts into English through the demonstration method. The results of the study showed that there was a significant comparison between the means before and after providing mentoring where the mean was found (43.89, increased to 68.61) and the results of t count > t table (14, 632 > 2.1098) so it was concluded that this mentoring was successful .

Abstract

Pronunciation is a science that studies techniques/procedures for pronouncing English vocabulary. This technique should not be ignored when learning English because errors in pronunciation can cause misunderstandings of meaning. This this study aimed to improve the pronunciation skills of MTs al Urwatul Wutsqo Bulurejo Jombang students by using the singing method. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the mentoring of English vocabulary pronunciation was very effective and had a positive impact, where students' English vocabulary pronunciation abilities increased significantly, because based on the paired sample test there was a significant comparison between the mean before and after the mentoring where the mean was found. (41.00, increased to 60.00) and the results of t count > t table (9, 628 > 2, 0902) so it can be concluded that this mentoring was successful.

Abstract

English, especially speaking, is very important for students to master it, especially in this digital era, alot of information is conveyed using English orally. This assistance aimed to overcome the very low speaking ability of BEM STIT al Urwatul Wutsqo members. One of them is the debate method. This mentoring was attended by 20 students. The research results shows that the debate method works very effectively and has a positive impact, where speaking skills increase significantly, as evidenced by the results of the pretest and posttest with paired sample test with the results t count > t table (- 8, 929 > 2, 172913), and 0.000 < 0.05, then this assistance is declared successful.
