Abstract

This research seeks to uncover and provide critical arguments of magical meaning in Mantra Kidung Jawa (after this referred to as MKJ). The focus of the investigation is the author's form and motive to create the spell. Various text models are considered strategies for magical purposes. This qualitative method of hermeneutics and content analysis was used as a research guideline. The object of the study is a collection of MKJ texts in Serat Kidungan's book published by the publisher Maha-Dewa, Ngajogjakarta Hadiningrat, 1957. This research data is in the form of text that implicitly contains magical meanings. Research shows that the magical power of mantras is still believed to influence Javanese life in the past. There is a correlation of 'interaction' between literature and mantras. The content of MKJ text is nostalgic, which repeatedly conveys and reminds of mythological figures, which are often mysterious. MKJ has relationships with various religions, both Hindu and Islamic. This proves that there is always the possibility of creativity when traditions side by side with religion that lasts for a long period. Beri beri kerangka penelitian ini adalah bahwa MKJ bisa ber pada studi transdisipliner di daerah kesehatan di balik teks mistik. Warisan leluhur Jawa melalui mantra bisa bisa menjadi kata-kata untuk kehidupan yang luar, termasuk krisis kesehatan global akibat Covid-19.

Abstract

This study represents an effort to investigate the feminist spirit within Pidi Baiq's novel "Ancika Dia Yang Bersamaku Tahun 1995". The study employs a qualitative research method. The data used is the novel Ancika Dia Yang Bersamaku Tahum 1995, published by Pastel Books in 2021. Data collection was carried out through the technique of note-taking. The findings of the study reveal that the novel Ancika Dia Yang Bersamaku Tahun 1995 possesses a strong representation of feminism. Through the story's plot, the author presents a discourse about the equality of rights and obligations between women and men. The novel portrays the importance of equality, equal rights, and respect for women. Through the character of Ancika, readers are invited to witness the role of a strong, brave woman who is capable of determining her own fate. This stimulates thought about the importance of creating a just and inclusive society, where women have an equal and respected role in all aspects of life. The implications of the findings highlight the importance of valuing and recognizing the equality between women and men in various aspects of life. Thus, society must strive to create an environment that is fair and inclusive, where women have equal rights with men in social interactions, relationships, and other fields.
