Abstract

Premarital sexual behavior has many negative impacts, including unwanted pregnancy and the risk of contracting HIV/AIDS. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS and teenagers' attitudes towards premarital sexual behavior in Naman Teran Village, Naman Teran District, Karo Regency in 2019. The independent variable is the level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS. The dependent variable is teenagers' attitudes towards premarital sexual behavior. The type of research used in this research is analytical observational with a cross sectional approach. The population was all 160 teenagers in Naman Teran Village, using accidental sampling technique. The sample in this study was 35 people. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The statistical test used is the Chi-square test p=0.05. The results of the analysis show that teenagers have sufficient knowledge about HIV/AIDS (54.3%), and a positive attitude towards premarital sexual behavior (74.3%), Chi-square test results p = 0.00 <of <of p=0.05, thus Ho is rejected. Ha is accepted, meaning there is a relationship between the level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS and teenagers' attitudes towards premarital sexual behavior. It is hoped that teenagers in Naman Teran Village will further increase their knowledge about HIV/AIDS with premarital sexual behavior.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the relationship between the knowledge of adolescent girls about anemia and its occurrence in Sigarang-Garang Village, Naman Teran Subdistrict, Karo District, in 2019. The pre-experimental research used a sample of 30 adolescent girls, revealing that a significant 70% had limited knowledge about anemia. Statistical analysis found a significant correlation between knowledge about anemia and its occurrence. The data further suggested that improving knowledge could potentially reduce the incidence of anemia. The study underscores the importance of educational interventions and outreach by healthcare professionals to bridge the knowledge gap and enhance the overall health of adolescent girls in the region.

Abstract

Kualitas pelayanan administrasi menjadi elemen penting yang memengaruhi tingkat kepuasan pasien, khususnya dalam konteks persaingan layanan kesehatan yang semakin intensif. Pelayanan yang berkualitas tidak hanya merefleksikan performa lembaga kesehatan, tetapi juga turut membentuk persepsi serta pengalaman pasien terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kualitas pelayanan administrasi terhadap kepuasan pasien. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Klinik Permata Saribudolok Tahun 2023. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien yang berkunjung di Klinik Permata Saribudolok Tahun 2023. Sampel diperoleh sebanyak 56 orang dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada pasien. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji Chi Square. Sebanyak 60,7% pasien merasa puas terhadap pelayanan administrasi yang diberikan tenaga kesehatan. Dimensi penampilan (p = 0,003; PR = 6,75; 95%CI 2,028-22,463), kehandalan (p = 0,031; PR= 4,01; 95%CI 1,281-12,563), daya tanggap (p = 0,010; PR = 5,14; 95%CI 1,610-16,430), perhatian (p = 0,011; PR = 4,83; 95%CI 1,362-17,157), dimensi jaminan (p = 0,011; PR = 6,96; 95%CI 2,104-23,053) berhubungan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pasien.

Abstract

Diabetes melitus tipe II (DM Tipe II) merupakan penyakit metabolik kronis yang ditandai oleh hiperglikemia akibat gangguan sekresi insulin dan resistensi insulin. Salah satu metode non-farmakologis untuk mengendalikan kadar glukosa darah adalah melalui aktivitas fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh senam chair exercise terhadap kadar gula darah pada pasien DM Tipe II. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pre-post test. Sampel berjumlah 22 responden yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji paired t-test. Hasil menunjukkan adanya penurunan signifikan kadar gula darah sesudah intervensi (p = 0,001). Senam chair exercise dapat menjadi intervensi alternatif untuk membantu menurunkan kadar gula darah pasien DM Tipe II.

Abstract

The research design used is descriptive with a case study method. The study took 1 client with a medical diagnosis of breast cancer and problems with skin integrity disorders. Pre-survey data processing was taken in Room VI at Kabanjahe General Hospital. The research results showed that the client said there was a wound on the left breast, with objective data the color of the wound was blackish brown, there was blood mixed with a little pus, and when the bandage was removed the smell was unpleasant. After 3 days of nursing care, the wound can improve with the criteria of the wound being red, no tissue necrosis, no odor, no pus coming out and a little bleeding. The conclusion of the nursing care evaluation shows that the problem of impaired skin integrity is still in the partially resolved stage. Based on the results obtained, further research is still needed, because healing skin integrity disorders due to cancer takes quite a long time, so clients must be patient and comply with all ongoing treatment.

Abstract

Burns or Kombutio are damage to the skin or internal tissue caused by sunlight, hot liquids, fire, electricity or chemicals. The transfer of energy from the heat source to the body causes disfigurement or burns. Therefore, to reduce morbidity and mortality rates due to burns, health workers in this case, especially nurses, must provide comprehensive nursing care to sufferers, starting from promotion, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation. This writing aims to provide nursing care for combutio problems in the Ashoka Room of Haji Adam Malik Regional Hospital, Medan (North Sumatra). This Scientific Writing uses anamnesis and direct physical examination. It is hoped that the results of this scientific work will help society reduce the number of deaths and morbidity caused by burns inflicted on patients. The results of this research show that promotive efforts such as health education, sterile wound care, and pain management can reduce the number of morbidity and death in patients due to wounds. burn.
