Abstract

Trangsan Village in Gatak, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java Province has been the center of the rattan handicraft industry since 1927. Currently it is the largest rattan industry in Central Java. Rattan raw materials imported from Kalimantan and then processed into ready-to-use goods for household needs. The policy to export raw rattan again in order to reduce the level of smuggling makes raw materials difficult to obtain. So that the Trangsan village craftsmen creatively combine materials from water hyacinth to reduce the use of rattan. This creativity is a source of research ideas regarding the aesthetics of combining rattan and water hyacinth materials as the manufacture of chair products. Descriptive qualitative research will describe the findings of applications with aesthetic value and quality. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews, as well as documentation. Data analysis found the conclusion that the aesthetic value of the chairs produced by Trangsan comes from the harmony of the woven layout which creates a sense of pleasure and satisfaction from its customers. Abstract

Sekolah dasar merupakan tempat pembelajaran bagi siswa memperoleh pendidikan dasar. Pembelajaran merupakan suatu proses perubahan tingkah laku yang diperoleh melalui pengalaman individu yang bersangkutan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Klabang dalam penerapan pengelolaan buku dalam kehidupan untuk menunjang belajarnya. Metode yang digunakan melalui penyuluhan dan pelatihan praktik bagi siswa. Kegiatan diawali dengan mengajak siswa dalam menata buku dan menulis katalog buku serta cara menata buku-buku pada rak yang tersedia secara konvensional. Kemudian kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan memberikan penyuluhan dan praktik cara penginputan data buku serta melihat hasil laporan dalam menggunakan manajemen informasi perpustakaan sekolah berbasis komputerisasi. Setelah adanya kegiatan ini, siswa sekolah dasar negeri Klabang, mendapatkan tambahan pengetahuan, yang diharapkan memberikan dampak bagi siswa dalam mengimplementasikan dalam penataan buku yang di rumah masing-masing guna memudahkan siswa dalam mencari buku-buku pribadi secara efektif dan efisien yang digunakan belajar.

Abstract

The application of artificial intelligence in education has brought significant changes in learning methods and classroom management. This paper discusses the Application of AI for Learning training held for lecturers at UDB Surakarta with the aim of improving understanding and skills in the application of AI technology. The training method includes a combination of theoretical and practical sessions. The theory session ran in several stages, namely a discussion on the introduction of AI, demonstrations of AI tools and technologies such as ChatGPT, Copilot, and Gemini. Practices of using AI in the creation of learning materials, assessment of learning outcomes, and writing scientific articles. The training, which was attended by 12 lecturers, provided hands-on experience in the application of AI in the world of education. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in the understanding and skills of the participants, with 91.67% of participants feeling satisfied and hoping for similar training on a regular basis. The training evaluation includes an analysis of participant feedback that shows that the training is helpful in preparing for learning, creating teaching modules, and other learning tools. The evaluation of the training results leads to the conclusion that this training is effective in improving lecturers' competence in using AI, encouraging creativity in learning, and is expected to increase effectiveness in learning.
