Abstract

Walisongo is known for the figures who spread Islam in Indonesia, especially on the island of Java, with a variety of unique ways of conveying their da'wah. One of them is Sunan Ampel whose real name is Sayid Ali Rahmatullah, he has a unique way of spreading Islam through writing the Pegon script. The writing does have a connection with the history of the development of Islam in Indonesia, especially the Pegon script under Sunan Ampel in Java. Where the pegon script was widely used by scholars in the past in making a work. Pegon script is able to protect these works from change. This Pegon script does have its own uniqueness because the form of writing is like Arabic writing, but actually the rules deviate from Arabic and Javanese. Through the spread of Islam by Sunan Ampel on the island of Java, finally the Pegon script was very popular in various circles, even as a form of acculturation of Islamic culture with Java. At present, the preservation of the Pegon script is mostly taught by pesantren through the yellow book. Whereas the preservation of pegon as an Islamic culture should not only be the task of the Islamic boarding school. Therefore, this study relates to the importance of preserving the Pegon script, as a form of preserving Islamic culture in Indonesia which has become a historical symbol of the entry of Islam on the island of Java. Walisongo dikenal dengan para tokoh yang menyebarkan agama islam di Indonesia terutama di pulau jawa dengan beragam cara yang unik dalam menyampaikan dakwahnya. Salah satunya yakni Sunan Ampel yang memiliki nama asli Sayid Ali Rahmatullah, beliau memiliki cara yang unik dalam menyebarkan islam melalui tulisan aksara pegon. Tulisan memang memiliki keterkaitan dengan sejarah perkembangan islam di Indonesia, khususnya aksara pegon yang dibawah oleh Sunan Ampel di tanah Jawa. Dimana aksara pegon banyak digunakan oleh ulama pada masa dahulu dalam membuat sebuah karya. Aksara pegon mampu membuat karya-karya tersebut terjaga dari perubahan. Aksara pegon ini memang memiliki keunikan tersendiri sebab bentuk tulisannya seperti tulisan Arab namun sebenarnya kaidahnya menyimpang dari bahasa Arab dan juga bahasa jawa. Melalui penyebaran agama islam oleh Sunan Ampel di pulau Jawa akhirnya aksara pegon sangat populer di berbagai kalangan bahkan sebagai wujud dari akulturasi budaya islam dengan Jawa. Pada masa sekarang, pelestarian aksara pegon kebanyakan diajarkan oleh pesantren melalui kitab kuning. Padahal seharusnya pelestarian pegon sebagai budaya islam bukan hanya tugas dari pondok pesantren saja. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berkaitan dengan pentingnya melestarikan aksara pegon, sebagai wujud pelestarian budaya islam di Indonesia yang menjadi simbol sejarah masuknya islam di pulau Jawa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether all the chapters in the 2013 curriculum subject Islamic Cultural History for 5th graders of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah are in accordance with the scientific approach or there are still learning steps that are not in accordance with the scientific approach. In this research method, the library research method was used which can be accessed qualitatively, the main source of which in this study was the textbooks for 5th grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students from the Islamic Cultural History subject for 5th graders of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah published by the Ministry of Religion in 2020 and sources of information supporting this study, namely articles, websites and other sources. The results of this study indicate that in the 2013 Curriculum the Islamic Cultural History subject book for grade 5 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students incorporates a scientific approach. The existence of aspects of the scientific approach in the book can make the learning process active and innovative because this scientific approach is an approach used by educators to activate students in the learning process. This is in line with the 2013 curriculum which requires educators to apply a scientific approach in their learning, especially in thematic subjects, students must also conduct student-centered learning.

Abstract

Kelompok Kerja Guru atau yang biasa disebut dengan KKG ini merupakan salah satu kegiatan kelompok atau komunitas  profesional bagi para pendidik atau guru SD/MI yang berada dalam satu kecamatan. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis tentang kemampuan guru sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti organisasi KKG yang meliputi tentang bagaimana guru mengembangkan materi, mengorganisasikan materi, penggunaan media dan sumber pembelajaran, serta hal lain yang menyangkut proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Pada penelitian ini, kami menggunakan metode kualitaif. Pada metode kualitatif ini akan memaparkan tentang penyajian data berupa hasil wawancara guru yang telah diwawancarai pada salah satu SD Negeri di Surabaya, berdasarkan hasil wawancara guru pada salah satu SD Negeri di Surabaya ini Organisasi KKG memberi capaian hasil pada peningkatan kompetensi guru.

Abstract

Cultural gaps, normative paradigms, and social stress are problems in the competence of Islamic religious teachers that lead to role nihilism. Role nihilism impacts chaotic socio-economic stagnation. Teacher competence has not affected society because it has focused only on textual teaching and learning processes, rather than on developing local potential as a key competence. MAN 2 Malang has enhanced competence by developing entrepreneur-based social skills. Using a qualitative case study, this research analyzes tactical phenomena to develop the competence of Islamic religious teachers. Data instruments were taken from in-depth interviews with the principal, curriculum chair, and school entrepreneurship section as primary data, and these were analyzed using the Huberman model. The research findings indicate that the initial strategy for transforming competencies involves shifting the mindset by integrating the social environment into learning methods, fostering social habituation in entrepreneurship, and engaging in extracurricular activities based on real-world projects. The development of socio-entrepreneurial competencies is measured through aspects such as independence, paradigm, social ethics, and the products produced. The output of teachers' entrepreneurial competencies can produce products with digital branding. The transformation strategy is implemented by making the product a mandatory requirement for graduation and by forming small groups of students accompanied by Islamic religion teachers. This result is where the competence of Islamic religion teachers integrates professionalism and social entrepreneurship as a form of transformation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi profesionalisme guru dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) di era Kurikulum Merdeka serta mengidentifikasi berbagai kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan mengkaji berbagai sumber literatur berupa jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan dokumen yang relevan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme guru memiliki peran penting dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif dan berpusat pada peserta didik, yang tercermin dari penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian. Selain itu, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran menjadi salah satu aspek penting dalam mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Namun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan pemahaman guru terhadap kurikulum, kurangnya sarana dan prasarana, serta minimnya pelatihan yang berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru secara berkesinambungan agar pembelajaran SKI dapat berlangsung secara optimal.

Abstract

The environmental awareness crisis has caused an imbalance in the relationship between humans and nature. Increasing pollution, waste, and the loss of biodiversity are contributing to global warming. Islamic educational institutions must respond through eco-theological strategies. This study aims to describe strategies to develop the pedagogical competencies of Islamic education teachers in environmental stewardship at MAN 7 Jombang. Building on this development, the next objective is to describe the patterns of integrating eco-theology into the curriculum. This qualitative case study examines strategies for developing teachers’ competencies in environmental management and integrating these competencies into the curriculum. Primary data were collected from the school principal, the curriculum, and teachers at MAN 7 Jombang. The research findings indicate that the development of teachers’ pedagogical competencies is carried out in three stages: 1) teachers are tasked with creating eco-theology modules and converting them into lesson plans; 2) teaching eco-theology by integrating it into classroom instruction and projects that provide long-term contributions; 3) the pinnacle of competency is the “green madrasah,” involving institutions and the community to protect the environment. This pattern represents a paradigm shift in eco-theology, leading to the subjective analysis that eco-theology can be realized in character, behavior, and social and religious projects.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah mengubah lanskap pendidikan, termasuk dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Namun, implementasi teknologi dalam PAI masih menghadapi tantangan struktural dan kultural, serta kesenjangan penelitian terkait integrasi teknologi dan nilai-nilai Islam dalam profesionalisme guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran PAI di era digital, menganalisis transformasi profesionalisme guru PAI, serta mengeksplorasi hubungan antara integrasi teknologi dan transformasi profesionalisme tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi pustaka yang bersifat deskriptif-analitis. Sumber data berupa artikel jurnal nasional dan internasional bereputasi, buku akademik, serta dokumen kebijakan pendidikan terbitan 2020–2026. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis isi dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran PAI mencakup e-learning, learning management system, media interaktif berbasis Android, kelas virtual, pembelajaran hibrida, hingga kecerdasan buatan. Profesionalisme guru PAI di era digital tidak hanya diukur dari penguasaan materi keislaman, tetapi juga literasi digital, kemampuan pedagogik berbasis teknologi, serta peran sebagai fasilitator dan filter moral. Hubungan antara integrasi teknologi dan transformasi profesionalisme bersifat konseptual dan komplementer, di mana teknologi berperan sebagai katalis perubahan paradigma, peningkatan efektivitas kinerja, serta pembentukan peran baru guru PAI sebagai agen inovasi dan penyaring nilai-nilai Islam di ruang digital.

Abstract

Teacher professionalism development is a key factor in improving the quality of education. In line with the changing times and the dynamic needs of education, teachers are required to continuously update their knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes. This study aims to analyze various literature findings related to the development of teacher professionalism through continuous education programs. The method used in this study is a systematic literature review of scholarly articles, research reports, and relevant policy documents from the past ten years. The results show that in the context of 21st-century education, teachers are expected to adapt to diverse classroom dynamics through flexible teaching strategies that respond to students' needs. Schools play a strategic role in supporting continuous professional development (CPD) by providing training, forming learning communities, and collaborating with external institutions. In addition, Classroom Action Research (CAR) is recognized as an effective method for improving both student learning outcomes and teacher professional development. Through the implementation of these strategies, it is expected that the overall quality of education can be enhanced, better preparing the younger generation to face future challenges.
