Abstract

Tentrem Semarang Building is one of the tallest buildings in Semarang with 4 basement floors and 17 top floors. The construction of basements in high-rise buildings is currently being carried out a lot, one of the factors is due to the limited land to be built, in general, the construction of basements is used for parking lots. The basement to be built has different depths and conditions, so it takes the right method according to the conditions in the field. There are 2 methods for implementing basement construction, namely bottom-up and top-down. In the basement structure work of the existing Tentrem Semarang Building construction project, the basement construction used the bottom-up construction method. In this study, the method will be modified using the top-down construction method. Information regarding work methods, worker productivity was obtained by interviewing field supervisors from the owner, interviews with supervisors from the main contractor and direct field observations. Calculation of costs and time is carried out by analyzing the capacity and productivity of labor and heavy equipment, comparing the normal time with the time after changes in construction methods. The results of the modification of the construction method using the top-down construction method for the basement structure of the Tentrem Semarang Building project took 510 days to complete and cost IDR 205,059,861,826. Whereas for the bottom-up method it takes 685 days with a total cost of IDR 253,609,405,225. The application of the Top-Down method to the implementation of the basement structure of the Tentrem Semarang building project is more effective and efficient than the implementation of the Bottom-Up method and produces a time effectiveness value of 25.55% and a cost efficiency of 19.14% compared to the Bottom-Up method

Abstract

In a development project there is Occupational Safety and Health (K3) both in planning, implementing and maintaining work. One of the efforts to reduce the risk and danger of work accidents is by applying safety management techniques, namely using Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to support safe and efficient work procedures. The purpose of this research is to analysis the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) implementation activities with the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method. Collecting data in this study through the distribution of questionnaires, direct observations and interviews with contractors as service providers, construction management consultants, sub.contractors and foremen in the construction project of the Integrated Science Olympiad Laboratory of MAN 2 Kudus. Data analysis techniques using qualitative metods generally use tabulation of research characteristic through descriptive scales such as high, medium and low. The results of this research explain that the validity test of alla variables in proven valid, while for the reliability test all variables are proven to be reliable and the value of the Relative Interest Index (IKR) data obtained with the “important” factor. So it can be concluded that the efforts to control Occupational Health and Safety (K3) on the project can be applied and affect the project performance

Abstract

Highways are one of the important facilities and infrastructure for the achievement of an activity, so a good road pavement design is a must. The existence of highways is very necessary for the need for transportation facilities that can reach remote areas. The increase in traffic volume will result in a decrease in service caused by a decrease in road capacity, in line with the results of the survey/identification conducted, road damage is currently occurring in several areas, especially the Pati-Gabus road section, Pati Regency, which causes considerable losses, especially for road users. , such as congestion, traffic accidents, long travel time and others. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of finding alternative pavement designs on the Pati-Gabus road section, and calculating the estimated costs required for pavement repairs. In this study using data obtained through field surveys which are primary data and data collection from the Highways Field of Pati Regency which is secondary data. The results of the study using the Surface Distress Index (SDI) method found that the damage at STA 0+000 to 0+200 was moderately damaged and at STA 0+200 – 1+000 it was lightly damaged and the type of repair was appropriate by looking at the conditions on the Pati road section. -Cork is at STA 0+000 to 1+000 using overlay requires a budget of IDR 2,600,000,000, while at STA 1+000 to STA 2+600 it is heavily damaged and must use rigid pavement requiring budget of IDR 6,341,000,000. Keywords: Road damage, Road repair, Pavement costs
