Abstract

The objective of this investigation was to evaluate the impact of e-student worksheets and the PjBL (Project Based Learning) paradigm on fifth-grade elementary school students' scientific learning results. A single group pretest-posttest is used in the research's quasi-experimental design. Purposive sampling is used in the sampling process, and Class V A is the experimental class. Research instruments up to 20 multiple-choice questions that have undergone validity and reliability testing. The experimental class has consistent and frequent distribution of data on learning outcomes. The Paired Sample T-test was utilized to analyze the data. The outcomes of the data analysis revealed 0.00. If the Sig level. < 0.05 then 0.00 < 0.05. These findings may lead to the conclusion that project-based learning (PjBL), which is supported by e-worksheets, has an effect on students' learning outcomes in science as Ho is declined and Ha is approved

Abstract

This study seeks to examine whether the use of the Discovery Learning model supported by pop-up book media influences the science learning outcomes of elementary school students. The research involved fourth-grade students enrolled at Jatihurip State Elementary School consisting of 2 classes totaling 60 people. and the subjects used were 30 students of class IV A and 30 students of class IV B. The participants were selected through purposive sampling, while the required data were obtained by administering a test. Design method used was a Quasi-Experimental Design with an Unequal Control Group Design type. The experimental group achieved a mean score of 80.83, whereas the control group obtained a mean score of 67.83. Normality of the data was assessed using the Shapiro–Wilk test, with the analysis performed through SPSS. Based on the results obtained, the significance value for the experimental group’s pre-test and post-test data, as well as the control group’s pre-test data, was below 0.05, so that the learning independence data is not normally distributed. Meanwhile, in the final questionnaire for the control class, the value was greater than 0.05, so the data were normally distributed. Based on the results of the Mann Whitney U Test, the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.000, which means the significance value was <0.05, so   rejected and  accepted. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence on the practice of the Discovery learning model aided by pop-up book media on the science competency of 4th-grade students at Jatihurip State Elementary School.
