Abstract

The Patrean River is one of the rivers that flows in several locations in Sumenep District including Manding, Batuputih, Dasuk, Gapura and Kota sub-districts. This river is heavily flowed by domestic waste and industrial waste. The presence of such waste can cause a decrease in water quality characterized by an increase in Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD). The purpose of this study was to determine the BOD and COD content at three locations of the Patrean river, and to assess the pollution status using the pollution index method based on Government Regulation No. 82 of 2021. Sampling was carried out in three locations (upstream, middle, and downstream), this research method used survey and experimental methods. The results of the calculation of COD values in Patrean River waters at upstream, middle and downstream points are 12.75 mg/l, 19.12 mg/l, and 25.50 mg/l, respectively. BOD values at three points are 9.02 mg/l, 16.11 mg/l and 20.94 mg/l.

Abstract

Soursop (Anonna Muricata L.) and Beluntas (Pluchea indica L.) are plants that contain secondary metabolites that have potential as antioxidants. The purpose of this study was to determine the activity of soursop leaf samples, beluntas and their combination in reducing DPPH. Samples were made into powder followed by maceration and evaporated the solvent to become an extract. Antioxidant activity testing with DPPH silencing method with UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Antioxidant activity test results for soursop leaf samples, beluntas, combinations (1:1), (1:2) and (2:1) have IC50 values of 58, 51, 57, 61 and 68 ppm, respectively. Further analysis Combination index of the combination (1:1) has a synergistic effect and the combination (1:2) and (2:1) has an antagonistic effect. Keywords: Antioxidant Activity, Anonna Muricata L. leaf, Pluchea indica L. leaf, DPPH

Abstract

The utilization and processing of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) is part of the solution to overcome health problems. Among the family medicinal plants, turmeric and Javanese ginger have benefits as immunomodulators. The purpose of this activity is to Increase Student Knowledge About the Utilization and Processing of TOGA: Formulation of NUIGUM (Nutraceticals Immune Booster Gummy Candy) Turmeric Extract (Curcuma longa) and Javanese Ginger (Curcuma xanthorriza) as an Immune Booster with Variations of Adding Siwalan Sugar (Borassus flabellifer l). The method used is socialization and education on the importance of the benefits and processing of TOGA to students of grades X and XI Pharmacy as an indicator of Asta Cita science, technology and health. The results of this activity show an increase in the percentage of student knowledge from 10% to 85%. This community service is expected to open new business opportunities for students while supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely a healthy and prosperous life.

Abstract

Abstrak Saat ini kita sedang mengalami Revolusi Industri 4.0 yang memperkenalkan teknologi digital dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Salah satu dampak positif dari revolusi ini adalah konsep Internet of Things (IoT) yang memungkinkan otomatisasi dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Pondok pesantren Al-Ibrahimy di desa Sentol Daya, Pragaan sedang menghadapi masalah kebersihan akibat perilaku membuang sampah sembarangan oleh santri dan masyarakat sekitar. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, kami mengembangkan tempat sampah pintar dengan menggunakan sensor ultrasonic HC-SR04 dan mesin servo untuk otomatisasi. Kami juga memanfaatkan Arduino Uno dan bahasa pemrograman C++. Melalui serangkaian eksperimen dan pengujian, kami berhasil menciptakan tempat sampah pintar yang membantu pengelolaan sampah sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: Internet of Things, Tempat Sampah Pintar, Otomatisasi ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Abstract We are currently facing the all-digital 4.0 revolution, all aspects of human life have been assisted or replaced by the presence of technology. It is not spared from the implementation of various forms of innovation that aim an autoymation. The Internet of Things (IoT) is an automation concept that connects internet and human daily activities in order that easier and more efficient. Al-Ibrahimy is one of the Islamic boarding schools located in Sentol Daya village, Pragaan, which is densely populated with islamic boarding school communities. Not a few social problems arise, including hygiene problems. The bad habits of students and community around the islamic boarding school in terms of littering lead to the accumulation of garbage that is not managed properly. Those problems can be handled by implementing the Internet of Things in smart trash can automation. This implementation is using several sensor components in it, the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor functions to detect objects so that it will open the trash can automatically, besides it also as a detector of the amount capacity of the trash volume can fill. In addition, a Servo machine is used which is tasked with pulling and closing the lid automatically. Arduino Uno application which functions to assemble the framework using the C++ programming language. In this case, the method used is experimentation and design. Abstract

Abstrak. Sentol Daya merupakan salah satu Desa yang terdapat di Kecamatan Pragaan Kabupaten Sumenep. Sebagian sektor ekonomi di desa ini adalah pertanian. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya inovasi dalam bertani untuk mengurangi polusi nutrisi kimia pada lingkungan. Untuk itu diperlukan adanya program penyuluhan dan pelatihan pertanian modern dengan tema pertanian asik dengan hidroponik. Hidroponik merupakan metode menanam tanaman tanpa menggunakan tanah. Tiga unsur utama dalam tanaman hidroponik yaitu nutrisi, cahaya, dan air. Selain air, tanaman hidroponik juga menggunakan media-media tanam seperti rockwool, busa, serabut kelapa, batu bata, arang sekam, dan pasir. Sistem hidroponik dapat memberikan suatu lingkungan pertumbuhan yang lebih terkontrol. Penyuluhan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi penerapan cara menanam tanaman secara sederhana dengan menggunakan limbah botol mineral sebagai media air untuk menanam tanaman, misalnya tanaman musiman, seperti kangkung, cabai, tomat, sawi, bunga kol, dan selada. Agenda ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang salah satu sistem dalam pertanian modern agar tanaman bisa tumbuh relatif lebih cepat, bebas dari hama maupun tanaman pengganggu, serta nutrisi dari tumbuhan bisa dikendalikan secara lebih efisien, sehingga lebih efektif. Kata Kunci: Pertanian Modern, Sistem Hidroponik, Tanaman Musiman.
