Abstract

The increasing complexity of corporate healthcare management has accelerated the need for digital transformation in Medical Check Up (MCU) services. In large organizations, conventional MCU management often produces fragmented health data, delayed reporting, and limited analytical capabilities, reducing the effectiveness of strategic health-related decision-making. This study aims to develop a digital transformation model for MCU services that supports Intelligent Corporate Health Decision-Making. A qualitative case study approach was employed in a large Indonesian corporation implementing annual MCU programs. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders, document analysis, and field observations. The data were analyzed using Grounded Theory through open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. The findings reveal that successful digital transformation of MCU services is shaped by the integration of high-quality information systems, reliable health information, organizational readiness, user competence, leadership support, and socio-technical alignment. These factors collectively enhance the organization's capability to generate timely, accurate, and actionable health intelligence for strategic decision-making. The study proposes an integrated conceptual model that combines the Information System Success Model and Sociotechnical Systems Theory to explain how digitalized MCU services create organizational value through intelligent health decision-making. This model represents the study's primary theoretical contribution while offering practical guidance for organizations seeking to optimize corporate health management through digital transformation, data integration, and evidence-based decision support.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of the Digital Transformation Capability (DTC) concept, identify the organizational capabilities that constitute DTC, and formulate research gaps and future research directions through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The study adopted the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines to conduct a systematic search of the Scopus database using the keywords Digital Transformation Capability, Strategic Organizational Agility, Hospital Innovation, and Performance. Of the 56 articles initially identified, 13 met the inclusion criteria and were subsequently analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that the concept of DTC has evolved from a technology implementation-oriented perspective toward an organizational capability-oriented perspective. The literature synthesis identified five major capability dimensions that collectively constitute DTC: strategic leadership capability, knowledge and information capability, human and organizational capability, resource and agility capability, and innovation and collaboration capability. The review also reveals that the existing literature remains conceptually fragmented, as organizational capabilities have generally been examined independently rather than integrated into a comprehensive DTC model as a higher-order capability. Furthermore, previous studies have predominantly employed cross-sectional research designs and have largely focused on organizational contexts outside the healthcare sector. This study concludes that Digital Transformation Capability represents an organizational capability developed through the integration of multiple strategic capabilities to support sustainable digital transformation. These findings provide a conceptual foundation for the development of theoretical models and future empirical research on DTC across diverse organizational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors contributing to fraud at PT XYZ, a building-material distribution company, using the Fraud Heptagon framework and to formulate an internal audit strategy for fraud prevention and detection. The study employed a qualitative case-study design. Data were obtained through semi-structured interviews, field observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Gioia Methodology through first-order concepts, second-order themes, and aggregate dimensions. The findings indicate that fraud risk at PT XYZ is associated with pressure, rationalization, opportunity, capability, collusion, stimulus, and ego/arrogance, although the empirical strength of each element differs. Opportunity emerges strongly through excessive user authority, gaps in daily monitoring, manual sales transactions, delayed system entry, and weaknesses in reconciliation. Capability is reflected in employees’ experience and knowledge of business processes and systems, while collusion is related to close sales-customer relationships and reliance on trust without sufficient independent verification. The study further finds that internal audit should adopt a more proactive and risk-based approach through periodic monitoring, onsite audits, cross-branch cross-checks, SOP education, follow-up of findings, sanctions, and legal coordination. The study contributes an empirical understanding of fraud risk in a multi-branch distribution context and links Fraud Heptagon factors directly with internal audit responses.
