Abstract

This research illustrates the application of a simple accounting system utilizing Microsoft Excel for a newly established fashion enterprise that currently lacks a formalized financial recording mechanism. The study employs a literature review methodology. These findings are intended to assist novice entrepreneurs, particularly within the fashion industry, in comprehensively understanding the implementation of accounting recording and bookkeeping through a fundamental software application. This objective is achieved by delineating the procedural steps required to generate general journals, ledgers, adjustment entries, and profit and loss statements within Microsoft Excel. Consequently, this study underscores the critical importance of adopting an accessible, application-based bookkeeping method, ensuring seamless practical implementation for emerging practitioners in the fashion sector.
