Kata Kunci: reject shop, klausula baku, perlindungan konsumen Abstract This research studies the reject shop issue related to product defect, departing from an e-commerce transaction process to the receipt of buyer’s items, where the package was delivered to the address stated on the TikTok shop app. Upon arrival, the item was found to have a defect, but it was not refundable or returned, considering that the seller unfairly declared that the item concerned could not be returned. This rule also carries the clause of exoneration in the shop, which contravenes Article 18 Paragraph (1) letters a, b, and c. This reject shop issue is often related to receiving wrong goods, damaged, defective, or incomplete items. This research focuses on the effectiveness of reject shop practices in TikTok shop and hampering factors in and the solution to buyer reject shop regarding the exoneration clause in TikTok shop according to Article 18 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection.
