Abstract

Abstrak: Edwards Personal preference Schedule (EPPS) adalah salah satu alat ukur yang cukup popular digunakan dalam dunia psikologi yang digunakan untuk melihat kepribadian individu melalui Teknik non-proyeksi atau inventory. Terdapat 15 kebutuhan (need) pada EPPS, salah satunya adalah need of agression. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis deskriptif terkait analisis psikometri menggunakan model Rasch yang meliputi validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesulitan item, dan Differential Item Functioning (DIF). Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa item-item yang mengukur need of aggression memiliki nilai koefisien validitas dan reliabilitas yang baik. Terdapat satu item yang memiliki tingkat kesulitan tinggi dan satu item yang memiliki tingkat kesulitan rendah. Kemudian terdapat dua item yang terdeteksi bias berdasarkan jenis kelamin.Kata Kunci: Need of Agression; Analisis Psikometri; model Rasch; EPPS; Remaja Abstract: Edwards Personal Preference Schedule (EPPS) is a measurement tool that is quite popular in psychology, which is used to see individual personalities through non-projection or inventory techniques. There are 15 needs (needs) in the EPPS, one of which is aggression. In this study, a descriptive analysis related to psychometric analysis using the Rasch model was carried out, including validity, reliability, item difficulty level, and Differential Item Functioning (DIF). The results of this study indicate that the items that measure the need for aggression have good validity and reliability coefficients. There is one item with a high difficulty level and one with a low difficulty level. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of group counseling to increase the motivation of vocational students who experienced a mismatch in the choice of majors. The research subjects were 8 students of class X who experienced a discrepancy in their choice of majors. The research method is a quasi-experimental method with the One-group pretest-posttest design technique. Analysis of the data used is the paired sample t-test to see differences in the learning motivation of SMK students who experience discrepancies in the choice of majors before and after being given treatment. The results showed that there was an increase in students' motivation scores after being given treatment, which means that group counseling was effective in increasing the learning motivation of SMK students who experienced a mismatch in the choice of majors.Keywords: learning motivation, group counseling, incompatibility of choice with majors

Abstract

ABSTRACT Attention is the mental ability that allows an individual to focus, direct, and sustain their thoughts on a specific object or task. Unfortunately, many students experience difficulties in maintaining their attention while studying, which can lead to a decline in the quality of learning outcomes. This study aims to evaluate the influence of instrumental music on the learning attention of senior-level psychology students at the State Islamic University (UIN) Malang. The research employs an experimental design with a Single Case Experimental Design approach. The study participants consist of 15 6th-semester psychology students who meet the established inclusion and exclusion criteria. The primary observed variable is learning attention, which is measured using the Digit Symbol test from the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS). The data analysis results, utilizing a t-test, reveal an average increase of -4.6 in learning attention scores from the pre-test to the post-test condition. The 95% confidence interval indicates that the actual difference between pre- and post-intervention instrumental music learning attention scores falls within the range of -4.054 to -5.146. From the analysis and interpretation of the data, it can be concluded that instrumental music has a significant influence in enhancing the learning attention of senior-level psychology students. ABSTRAK Perhatian adalah kemampuan mental yang memungkinkan seseorang untuk memusatkan pikiran, mengarahkannya, dan mempertahankan fokus pada suatu objek atau tugas tertentu, Sayangnya, banyak mahasiswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mempertahankan perhatian mereka selama belajar, yang dapat menyebabkan penurunan kualitas hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh musik instrumental terhadap perhatian belajar mahasiswa psikologi tingkat akhir di Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimental dengan pendekatan Single Case Experimental Design. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 15 mahasiswa psikologi semester 6 yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang ditetapkan. Variabel utama yang diamati adalah perhatian belajar, yang diukur menggunakan alat tes Digit Symbol dari Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS). Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji t-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor perhatian belajar sebesar 4,6 dari kondisi pre-test ke post-test. Interval kepercayaan 95% menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan sebenarnya antara skor perhatian belajar sebelum dan sesudah intervensi musik instrumental berada dalam rentang -4,054 hingga -5,146. Dari analisis dan interpretasi data dapat disimpulkan bahwa musik instrumental memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalammeningkatkan perhatian belajar mahasiswa psikologi tingkat akhir.
