Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This research aims to analyze how the Government's Fiscal Policy is Implemented to Overcome the East Java Poverty Problem for the 2020-2021 period. Research Methods: The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive research methodology approach with content analysis and library research techniques. Research that utilizes library resources to obtain research data. Finding/Results: The results of the study show that the efforts made by the Provincial Government of East Java to overcome poverty are through various comprehensive poverty reduction programs, including social assistance for individuals and families, community empowerment and MSME empowerment, and other poverty reduction programs. Conclusion: With the right fiscal Policy, the government can overcome the problem of poverty. Then fiscal Policy is beneficial to improve people's welfare.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a strategic mechanism to address persistent inefficiencies in agricultural supply chains, particularly those related to logistical delays, supply–demand imbalances, and lack of data transparency. This study investigates the impact of digital technologies on the performance of agricultural supply chains in Indonesia within the framework of Smart Farming 2025. Using a qualitative approach with a library research method, this research analyzes various scholarly sources, including national and international journals, policy papers, and institutional publications. The findings reveal that digital transformation enhances logistics efficiency, improves demand forecasting, strengthens product traceability, and increases farmers’ access to markets and technologies. Despite these advantages, challenges remain—particularly the digital divide, infrastructural limitations, and resistance to technology adoption. Therefore, this study highlights the need for collaborative strategies among governments, private sectors, and farming communities to build an inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable digital agriculture ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of molasses produced from a mixture of sugarcane juice and brown sugar in terms of chemical composition, antioxidant activity, and its potential as a fermentation substrate for ethanol and lactic acid. The study used a literature review approach by reviewing relevant scientific articles, proceedings, and academic books from the last five to ten years. These sources were selected based on the clarity of the method, the relationship to molasses characteristics, and its use in functional foods and the bioindustry. The results of the study indicate that sugarcane molasses is rich in phenolics, flavonoids, and melanoidins with high antioxidant capacity, while brown sugar also has strong antioxidant activity and contributes minerals and Maillard compounds that play a role in redox activity. Sugarcane molasses has been proven effective as a fermentation substrate for the production of ethanol and lactic acid with competitive process performance and relatively low carbon source costs. Theoretically, molasses from a mixture of sugarcane juice and brown sugar has the potential to produce a sweet matrix with a high density of bioactive compounds and favorable fermentative characteristics. However, specific experimental data on the mixed molasses is still limited, so further research is needed to verify its chemical profile, actual antioxidant activity, safety, and fermentation performance.
