Abstract

The goal this research is test influence of vactors to Student preference majoring in accounting to participation in accounting provetion program on four univercity: Unair, Ubaya, STIESIA, and Unibraw. Test of the research use linier regration model. The Result of the research, parsially test:  (a) independent variable significant infleance to dependent variable (carier motivation, kuality motivation, kwnoladge motivation, participating USAP motivation, degree motivation, term of education, and achievement motivation. (b) The cost of education motivation and econocic motivation don’t significant influence to participation in accounting provetion program. Corelation value R2 between independen variable and dependent and dependent variable is 0,894, determination value 0,790 is the meaning 79,0% participation in accounting provetion program influenced by independen variable, than 21,0% participation in accounting provetion program influenced by others variable.

Abstract

Dengue virus infection can cause dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) which is still a major health problem in Indonesia. Thediagnosis of DHF is established based on WHO criteria and IgM/IgG antidengue serologic markers. A rapid method is needed for thedetecting or screening the disease. Antigen detection (NS1) can be performed by immunochromatography (rapid test) or enzyme -linkedimmunosorbent assay (ELISA). Recently, a rapid test to detect NS1 as an antigen and IgM/IgG antidengue to differentiate primary andsecondary dengue virus infection is available in one cassette. This study evaluated the new commercial dengue rapid test, SD DengueDuo for the detection of both antigen and antibodies to dengue virus. Serum samples used in this study were collected from 33 denguevirus infection patients according to WHO criteria and admitted in the Tropical Ward, Dr. Soetomo Hospital. Samples were taken twice, during acute and convalescent phase. SD Dengue Duo (NS1, IgG, IgM) rapid test was used and confirmed by ELISA as the gold standard. To determine the diagnostic specificity 20 samples of non dengue virus infection (typhoid fever and malaria) confirmed by laboratorytests were used. In the acute phase, SD Dengue Duo (NS1, IgG, IgM) rapid test showed IgG sensitivity 94.7% (18/19), specificity 92.9%(13/14), IgM sensitivity 85% (17/20), specificity 100% (13/13), NS1 sensitivity 50% (10/20), specificity 100% (13/13). In theconvalescent phase, SD Dengue Duo (NS1, IgG, IgM) rapid test showed antidengue IgG sensitivity 96.3% (26/27), specificity 66.7%(4/6), IgM sensitivity 95% (22/23), specificity 80% (8/10), NS1 sensitivity 42.9% (3/7), specificity 100% (26/26). To establish thediagnosis of dengue virus infection, not only NS1, but also antidengue IgM/IgG is needed. SD Dengue Duo containing dengue NS1 antigencombined with IgG/IgM test in one cassette is a rapid, practical and has a high validity diagnostic result.

Abstract

Excessive ordering of blood components causes problems such as a lack of proper distribution of blood products between centers, increased costs, and workload of blood banks. Effective use of MSBOS will reduce the cross-match of patient blood samples and reduce unnecessary testing. This is also expected as a way to improve the quality of health services at UNAIR Hospital and reduce patient treatment costs. This study aimed to find out the MSBOS profile for orthopedic surgery at UNAIR Hospital in the period January-June 2021. This study is a cross-sectional study with a sample of orthopedic patients at UNAIR Hospital. The period was 6 months (January-June 2021). Cross-match to Transfusion Ratio (CTR), transfusion probability, and transfusion index calculations were carried out so that MSBOS could be formulated. A total of 33 units of blood were cross-matched from 21 patients in this study, whereas only 5 units of blood were transfused to 4 patients. It was found that 7 out of 8 types of surgeries had a CTR value of more than 2, a total of 6 types of surgeries had a low transfusion probability (below 30), and 6 types of surgeries had a TI below 0.5. In Total Hip Replacement (THR) and ORIF plating symphysis surgery, it is recommended that 2 units of blood be MSBOS, while for others, Group, Screen, Hold (GSH) is recommended. Further research with larger samples is needed to obtain more accurate results.

Abstract

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is one of the threats in the medical world and requires guaranteed and valid laboratory analysis procedures, one of which is through the quality control (QC) mechanism. As part of laboratory management, QC has an impact on the validity of laboratory analysis results, especially related to HBV infection. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of medical analysts before and after laboratory management training. The research method used comparative paired test analysis to obtain the significance and binary logistic regression to determine the most influential questions on the test. The results showed a significant increase in medical analyst knowledge after being given laboratory management material. Supported by a p value = 1.000 from the Hosmer and Lemeshow test and an overall prediction of 95.5% (positive: 92.0% and negative 97.6%), this training was very good in terms of goodness-of-fit and accurate. Material related to immunochromatography (ICT) method is an influential factor based on the analysis of test results. Medical analyst training, especially related to laboratory management in the context of HBV management, has a significant impact and can be continued and developed.
