Abstract

The ability to think creatively in physics learning is needed to help students develop creativity in finding solutions to problem-solving, especially those related to environmental education. This study aims to determine the creative thinking profile of 34 high school students in Jombang on global warming in learning that integrates environmental issues. The research was conducted using creative thinking ability test questions on global warming material, which were then analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results showed that students had poor scores on the elaboration indicator, while the other three indicators (fluency, flexibility, and originality) were in the moderate category. The study concluded that further research is needed to improve students' creative thinking skills at the secondary school level, especially in physics material related to the environment.

Abstract

Pendidikan lingkungan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik, khususnya berpikir kreatif. Integrasi pendidikan lingkungan dalam pembelajaran fisika dapat menumbuhkan sikap dan karakter peserta didik untuk melestarikan dan peduli terhadap lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hasil validitas modul ajar berbasis inquiry learning terintegrasi pendidikan lingkungan terkait perubahan iklim untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan jenis metode ADDIE. Terdapat tiga tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu tahap analisis (analyze), tahap desain (design) dan tahap pengembangan (development). Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dibatasi sampai tahap development yang difokuskan pada proses uji validitas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan memakai metode validasi melalui pemberian lembar validasi kepada validator ahli untuk mengetahui validitas modul ajar yang dikembangkan. Teknik analisis dilakukan dengan menghitung hasil validitas modul ajar dari 3 validator dosen ahli pada bidang pembelajaran inovatif dan  perangkat pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai validitas dari ketiga validator pada modul ajar berbasis inquiry learning terintegrasi pendidikan lingkungan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada materi perubahan iklim yang dikembangkan memiliki hasil validitas sangat valid. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul ajar yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Karakteristik dari modul ajar yang dikembangkan telah terintegrasi pendidikan lingkungan sehingga dapat memberikan dampak yang positif kepada peserta didik terkait penggunaan pendidikan lingkungan (lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar) dalam pembelajaran fisika sehingga dapat dijadikan salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan semangat peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran.
