Abstract

This research aims (1) to find out how to improve students' PKN learning outcomes on Economic Diversity Material in class VI SDN 05 Bilah Hilir, Bilah Hilir District, Labuhanbatu Regency (2) To find out how PKN learning activities on Economic Diversity Material apply the discussion method in class VI SDN 05 Bilah Hilir, Bilah Hilir District, Labuhanbatu Regency. This research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects in this research were 29 class VI students at SDN 05 Bilah Hilir, consisting of 17 boys and 12 girls. The research object studied was PKN learning in an effort to improve student learning outcomes through the use of discussion methods. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there has been an increase in PKN learning outcomes in Economic Diversity Material through learning using the discussion method in class VI SDN 05 Bilah Hilir, Bilah Hilir District, Labuhanbatu Regency, Academic Year 2022/2023. From the initial condition to the final condition, there was an increase in learning outcomes from an average of 53.45% in the initial test to 73.79% in cycle I, while in cycle I it was 73.79% to 85.52% in cycle II. In the learning process there is also improvement. In the final condition, students were more active in PKN learning on economic diversity material, while based on learning completeness, in the initial test it was 44.83% to 79.31% in cycle I, in cycle I classical completion was 79.31% to 89.66% . In the initial test and cycle I learning, an increase in the completeness of student learning outcomes was 34.48% (44.83% to 79.31%), while the increase in the class average was 20.34% (53.45% to 73.79 %). In learning cycle I and cycle II, the increase in the completeness of student learning outcomes was 10.35% (79.31% to 89.66%), while the increase in the class average was 11.73% (73.79% to 85.52 %). In cycle I, teacher observation results reached 18.19% (from 70.45% to 88.64%), while students increased by 14.28% (from 71.43% to 85.71%).
