Abstract

R.A Al-Basyari Sendang Mulyo,Lampung Tengah is a formal education for early childhood education under the management of the Ministry of Religion. One of the lessons taught at R.A Al-Basyari Sendang Mulyo is knowing hijaiyah letters. R.A Al-Basyari Sendang Mulyo still uses conventional methods in the learning process. This makes students passive in the learning process, easily forgets material and even students get bored quickly in learning. Meanwhile, early childhood prefers to play than study. With the application of technology in the world of education, it will help student learning, one of which is learning media using games. The purpose of this study is to implement an Android-based hijaiyah letter recognition educational game made using Construct 2. The system development method used is the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC). Based on the test results using the ISO 9126 model with a percentage result of 96.33% in testing the usability aspect of students, it shows that the game can be used and accepted by students. And in testing the usability aspect of teachers and parents at 97.04%, it shows that games can provide convenience in learning the introduction of hijaiyah letters. While the total of testing the functionality and usability aspects is 96.8%.
