Abstract

It is commonly happened in dynamic love relationship to breakup each other, in which so that they do actions that can hurt themselves, this is done by someone to deal with emotional pain, self-emptiness, loneliness, loss. , and satisfy the desire to punish oneself by causing injuries to the body, this is called self-injury. Self-injury is a form of behavior carried out by individuals to deal with emotional pain, this behavior is carried out very intentionally but the individual does not intend to commit suicide. One that affects self-injury is self-esteem. Self-esteem is the result of an individual's evaluation of himself which is expressed in his own attitude. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between self-esteem and self-injury in Bhayangkara University, Jakarta Raya students who experience a breakup. The subjects used in this study were students of Bhayangkara University, Greater Jakarta with a total of 100 subjects. The results of the non-parametric correlation test of Spearman's Rho showed a relationship of -0.403** with a significance of 0.000 (p < 0.001). The results show that there is a relationship with a significant negative correlation between self-esteem and self-injury in Bhayangkara University, Jakarta Raya students who experience a breakup. That is, the higher self-esteem in students, the lower students do self-injury, and vice versa.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out whether there is a difference between the academic resilience of students at SMPN 08 Tambun Selatan after the Covid-19 Pandemic in terms of gender. The subjects in this study totaled 150 students consisting of 75 male students and 75 female students. The sampling technique uses quota sampling. The data analysis technique uses a different test, namely the Independent Sample t Test. Based on the results of data analysis using SPSS 23, a Sig p value of 0.981 (p> 0.05) was obtained with a mean value of 86.3200 for male students and 88.7067 for female students. The conclusion of this study was that there was no difference between the academic resilience of male students. male and female students.

Abstract

The negative impact of peer groups will cause adolescents to do deviant behavior either individually, in groups or in a combination. Deviation is related to the rules or laws apply where a person can't adjust to it, and finally results in a violation. Adolescents as individuals tend to have one of the personalities as the dominant factor for performing an action or behavior. Personal factors such as personality have the potential to shape deviant behavior. This is because personality is a characteristic of a person's thoughts, feelings and behavior that makes that person unique. Referring to The Big Five Personality theory, of the five dimensions there is one personality dimension, namely Neuroticism, which is defined as a personality with negative emotions so that it is prone to anxiety, depression, sadness, and aggression. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between neuroticism personality and deviant behavior in adolescents at SMK X Bekasi. The sampling technique used in this study was quota sampling with 120 respondents. The measuring instruments used are the neuroticism personality scale and the deviant behavior scale. The results of this study indicate the correlation coefficient value between the neuroticism personality variable and individual deviant behavior of 0.540**, group 0.479**, and mixed 0.461** with a significance level or sig(2-tailed) of 0.000 (p <0.05), so it can be stated that there is a relationship between neuroticism personality variables and deviant behavior in adolescents at SMK X Bekasi.
