Abstract

This research aims to understand the impact of the number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the workforce involved in the MSME sector on poverty levels in Central Kalimantan. Through this research, it is hoped that we can increase understanding and knowledge about the factors that contribute to efforts to reduce poverty. The data used in this research consists of secondary data covering a five year period, starting from 2018 to 2022. The research method applied is the quantitatively to analyze the relationship between the independent variables, namely the number of MSMEs (X1) and the MSME sector workforce (X2), with the dependent variable, namely the number of poverty (Y). The large number of poverty can be influenced by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) because MSMEs have an important role in creating jobs, supporting economic growth and reducing economic inequality. From this research, it is concluded that the number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises ( MSMEs) in Central Kalimantan Province do not significantly influence factor Y, which shows that the number of MSMEs in the region does not play a role in reducing poverty levels. Meanwhile, the variable number of workers apparently has a significant impact on the poverty level in Central Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

In summary, this research aimed to investigate the implementation of the KIP-K program at Palangkaraya University. The author used a qualitative approach with primary data types and analyzed the data using descriptive processed data from a Likert scale questionnaire. The findings revealed that the use of the KIP-K program was considered very useful, particularly in the field of education for those who are still incapable of fulfilling their needs. However, the study also identified some obstacles in terms of submitting requirements, which may hinder the implementation of the program. Overall, the implementation of the KIP-K program at Palangkaraya University was found to be going well. To improve the program's effectiveness, the author suggested that more focused efforts are needed to socialize the program and provide clearer and more accessible information to all students who meet the program's requirements.

Abstract

Kegiatan magang merupakan salah satu bentuk pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman kerja nyata kepada mahasiswa melalui penerapan ilmu yang telah diperoleh selama perkuliahan. Kegiatan magang ini dilaksanakan di Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Palangka Raya selama periode Februari hingga April 2026. Tujuan dari kegiatan magang ini adalah untuk memahami sistem kerja instansi, meningkatkan kemampuan dalam pengolahan dan analisis data statistik, serta mengidentifikasi berbagai permasalahan sosial ekonomi yang terjadi di masyarakat.Metode yang digunakan selama kegiatan magang meliputi observasi, partisipasi langsung dalam kegiatan statistik, pengolahan data, validasi data lapangan (ground check), serta analisis data sosial ekonomi. Kegiatan yang dilakukan mencakup sensus ekonomi, pengolahan data survei harga, validasi data Matcha Pro, penyusunan infografis, hingga analisis fenomena kemiskinan dan perubahan harga emas.Hasil kegiatan magang menunjukkan bahwa sistem kerja di Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Palangka Raya berjalan secara terstruktur mulai dari tahap pengumpulan, pengolahan, validasi, hingga penyajian data statistik. Selain itu, kegiatan magang juga memberikan pengalaman praktis dalam pengolahan data dan meningkatkan kemampuan analisis terhadap fenomena sosial ekonomi. Kendala yang ditemukan selama kegiatan magang antara lain keterbatasan responden, ketidaksesuaian data lapangan, serta keterbatasan data yang detail dan terkini.Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan magang memberikan manfaat yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai penerapan ilmu statistika di dunia kerja serta menjadi sarana untuk menghubungkan teori dengan praktik secara langsung.
