<![CDATA[Karya busana dengan judul “Penciptaan Exotic Dramatic Style dengan Teknik Macrame” bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain busana yang memiliki karakter kuat, unik, dan artistik melalui pengolahan teknik hias makrame. Konsep exotic dramatic style dipilih karena mampu menampilkan kesan berani, mewah, dan penuh ekspresi, sehingga memberikan nilai estetika yang tinggi pada busana. Metode yang digunakan dalam penciptaan karya ini meliputi tahap eksplorasi, perancangan, dan perwujudan. Pada tahap eksplorasi dilakukan penggalian ide dan referensi terkait gaya exotic dramatic style dengan teknik macrame. Tahap perancangan meliputi pembuatan sketsa desain, pemilihan bahan, warna, dan teknik yang sesuai dengan konsep. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penciptaan karya ini meliputi kain batik tulis, kain toyobo, dan kain tile yang dipadukan untuk mendukung karakter visual dan tekstur pada busana. Selanjutnya, tahap perwujudan dilakukan melalui proses pembuatan busana dengan penerapan teknik macrame sebagai elemen utama pada busana. Tahap penyajian karya dilakukan melalui pergelaran busana fashion show yang diselenggarakan di Gedung Hoeridjah Adam ISI Padangpanjang. Karya ditampilkan pada model dengan iringan musik bertema medieval fantasy wizard untuk memperkuat suasana dramatis dan mendukung penyampaian konsep exotic dramatic style. Hasil dari penciptaan karya ini berupa busana yang menonjolkan detail tekstur dari teknik macrame yang dipadukan dengan siluet dan warna yang mendukung konsep exotic dramatic style. Karya ini diharapkan dapat memberikan inovasi dalam pengembangan desain busana, khususnya dalam pemanfaatan teknik macrame sebagai elemen dekoratif yang memiliki nilai estetika dan artistik tinggi. The exotic dramatic style concept was chosen because it conveys a bold, luxurious, and expressive impression, thus lending high aesthetic value to the garment. The method used in creating this work includes exploration, design, and implementation. The exploration stage involved exploring ideas and references related to the exotic dramatic style using macrame techniques. The design stage included creating design sketches and selecting materials, colors, and techniques appropriate to the concept. The materials used in this work included hand-drawn batik, toyobo, and tulle, combined to enhance the visual and textural character of the garment. The implementation stage then involved the creation of the garment, employing macrame as the primary decorative element. The presentation of the work was carried out through a fashion show held at the Hoeridjah Adam Building, ISI Padangpanjang. The work was displayed on models accompanied by medieval fantasy wizard themed music to enhance the dramatic atmosphere and support the delivery of the exotic dramatic style concept. The result of this creation is a garment that emphasizes the textured details of the macrame technique, combined with silhouettes and colors that support an exotic dramatic style. This work is expected to provide innovation in the development of fashion design, particularly in the use of macrame as a decorative element with high aesthetic and artistic value.
