Abstract

Self-efficacy atau keyakinan seseorang menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi manajemen diri hipertensi. Self-care manajemen yang baik mampu mendukung individu dalam terkontrolnya hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan perawatan diri pada penderita hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kartasura. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel yang ada dalam penelitian ini adalah 247 orang dengan hipertensi yang berobat ke Puskesmas Kartasura, sampel dikumpulkan dengan cara accidental sampling dan di uji analisis menggunakan Kendall-Tau. Pengumpulan data dilakukan di Puskesmas Kartasura menggunakan kuesioner SEMH untuk mengukur efikasi diri dan kuesioner HSMBQ untuk mengukur self-management atau perawatan diri responden. Sebanyak 174 orang (70.4%) memiliki self-efficacy yang baik, serta 199(80.2%) orang memiliki self-care management yang baik pula. Uji Hubungan dari kedua variabel didapat p-value = 0,000 sehingga, hasil dari penelitian ini didapat hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan self-care management pada pasien hipertensi.

Abstract

Background: The correct diet, blood glucose management, and quality of life are all impacted by patients' levels of knowledge on diabetes and nutrition. consequences from Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM), which is often associated with a poor diet, can have a significant impact on patients' quality of life. These consequences can include damage to the kidneys, blood vessels, and neurological system. To maintain blood sugar levels and avoid difficulties, proper management is crucial, which includes a high degree of education and a healthy diet.Purpose: to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and eating patterns in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the Kartasura Community Health Center.Methods: The research in question is a cross-sectional quantitative observational study. In this study, 174 participants with type 2 diabetes mellitus were chosen at random using an incidental selection strategy, which is a non-probability sampling method. A questionnaire was used to gather data, which assessed the respondents' dietary habits and their degree of diabetes awareness. The association between the two variables was determined by data analysis utilizing the Spearman correlation testResult: The correlation results obtained a significant value of the level of knowledge with diet patterns with a P-value of 0.000 <0.05, and most respondents had a low level of knowledge as many as 66 respondents (37.9%) and were not compliant with the diet program being undertaken as many as 112 (64.4%) respondentsImplication: The study's findings show that patients with diabetes mellitus at the Kartasura Health Center's knowledge level is correlated with their eating habits. It is believed that this discovery will help enhance the understanding of type 2 diabetes mellitus and make it easier for people with this disease to stick to their diet plan

Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a condition caused by structural or functional abnormalities characterized by a decrease in the glomerular filtration rate (GFR). One of the treatments for CKD patients is hemodialysis (HD). Sleep disorders are among the complications of hemodialysis. Administering lavender aromatherapy is a method to improve the sleep quality of patients. This study uses a literature review method. Articles were searched on ScienceDirect, PubMed, and Google Scholar using advanced search with the keywords "Chronic Kidney Disease, Hemodialysis, Lavender Aromatherapy," resulting in 10 relevant articles to compile this review. The results showed that lavender aromatherapy was effective in addressing complications such as poor sleep quality, fatigue, pain, and anxiety in hemodialysis patients. In conclusion, lavender aromatherapy has been proven effective in improving the sleep quality of HD patients.
