Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Student Teams Achievement Division learningmethod to student learning outcomes in economics subjects in class x SMAN 9 Jambi city. This type of researchuses experiment. Meanwhile, the technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique, namely apurposive sample that requires a control class and a experimental class. The result of the study show that theapplication of the Student Teams Achievement Division learning method can improve student learningoutcomes. Thus, student learning outcomes are higher using the Student Teams Achievement Division learningmethod.
