Abstract

Innovation is closely associated with quality and Knowledge Management (KM). However, there still needs tobe more consensus on the nature of the relationship. Therefore, it is an opportunity to contribute further to theliterature on innovation management studies. The research mapped research developments in quality subjects, knowledge, and innovation subjects from Scopus Database in an integrative and comprehensive manner usingMicrosoft Excel, Mendeley, and VOSviewer to conduct a bibliometric analysis. With PRISMA Flow Diagram incarrying out a systematic search, the research managed to capture 140 research articles on related topics publishedbetween 2002 and 2022. Through a systematic search and bibliometric analysis, the research identified, described, and characterized the origins, evolution, and intellectual structures of scientific knowledge associated with quality, knowledge, and innovation in management. For the results, the research underlines a lack of systematic efforts todevelop a sound theoretical framework of the subject matters. The literature still lacks evidence concerning referencemodels and critical factors which can contribute to effective and efficient integration of quality, knowledge, andinnovation, especially in the management field. At the end of the research, a framework is proposed to broadenthe perspective of quality management practices that are not limited to Total Quality Management (TQM). Theresearch result drives future studies to determine reciprocal relationships between TQM and KM and how thisaffinity can impact innovation.

Abstract

The tourism sector is a very effective sector for improving the regional economy in Indonesia. The implementation of digital information technology has a positive impact on the tourism sector, thereby enabling a tourism revolution in the present and future. Operational activities related to ticket sales in the Pancer Beach ecotourism area are still carried out manually and have yet to be computed, which causes financial reporting to be less effective and efficient. Thus, it is necessary to integrate digital technology by developing a web-based ticket management information system to make the transaction recording process more efficient and increase the transparency of financial reports. The Pancer Beach ticket application was built using the waterfall method, which consists of 5 stages: software requirements analysis, application design, code generation, application testing, and support. The results show that the Pancer Beach ticket application system was built based on the needs and capacity of the Pancer Beach ecotourism area staff. Features available in the application include the Dashboard menu, Settings and information, Tickets, and Income Reports. The integration of digital technology in the Pancer Beach ticket application makes operational services for visitors, especially those related to ticket management, faster, more efficient, and transparent
