Abstract

The intensity of a teacher's meeting with his students at school is very high, it causes a strong psychological bond. One of the psychological bonds that occurs is the role of teachers as parents. This study aims to illustrate how the role of a teacher as a second parent. A teacher can be present as a father or mother to his students. Research was conducted to get an idea of how the role of a teacher as a parent for his students. Research was conducted to get an idea of how the role of a teacher as a parent for his students. This research is qualitative research where researchers use literature sources related to this research including books, journals and other literature sources. The source was used to find descriptive data about a teacher's role as a second parent. It is hoped that this research will contribute to teachers being able to carry out their roles both as educators and second parents for students, so that there is effective communication established in order to achieve educational goals properly and maximally. ABSTRAKSIntensitas pertemuan Seorang guru dengan anak didiknya di sekolah sangat tinggi. Hal itu menyebabkan adanya ikatan psikologis yang kuat. Salah satu ikatan psikologis yang terjadi adalah peran guru sebagai orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana peran seorang guru sebagai orang tua kedua. Seorang guru dapat hadir sebagai ayah atau ibu bagi anak didiknya. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mendapat gambaran bagaimana peran seorang guru sebagai orang tua bagi anak didikanya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dimana peneliti  menggunakan sumber-sumber literatur yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini antara lain buku, jurnal dan sumber literatur lainnya. Sumber tersebut digunakan untuk menemukan data deskriptif tentang peran seorang guru sebagai orang tua kedua. Kiranya penelitian ini dapat memberi manfaat bagi setiap setiap guru untuk dapat menjalankan perannya baik sebagai pendidik maupun orang tua kedua bagi para siswa-siswinya. Juga bagi peserta didik, orang tua/wali, serta setiap pelaku pendidikan, sehingga ada komunikasi efektif yang terjalin demi tercapainya tujuan pendidikan secara baik dan maksimal. Kata Kunci: Guru, orang tua, pendidikan, efektif, siswa-siswi

Abstract

Technology with all its developments has become an integral part of the lives of today's teenagers. The extensive use of technology, such as smart phones, social media, gaming, and other things related to digitalization, can have a significant impact on the psychological development of teenagers. In this situation, the church, family and Christian ministry institutions have a very important role to play, which is why a correct understanding of digitalization and all the impacts it has, both positive and negative, is needed. Uncontrolled use of technology can affect the mental health of Teenagers. This influence can take the form of watching negative content, deviant behaviors of bullying or body shaming, online gambling, and other shows that can have an impact on the psychology of Christian teenagers. This impact is what the author will examine in this paper. The author uses a descriptive method where the author will use journals and literature relevant to this writing. These literature sources are used as sources of information in order to analyze and describe the research in accordance with this journal. The author hopes that this research can provide information and contributions for churches, families, and Christian institutions to approach, assist and even handle teenage youth so that digitalization can have a spiritual and positive impact on Christian youth.
