<![CDATA[Factors of maternal mortality in Indonesia cause by various things. Bleeding and infection are one of the highest cases of the death cause. The humid perineum and the wound which is not treated well can improve the bacteria growth thus it can cause infection. Based on the results of a preliminary study with interviews with 6 postpartum mothers who experienced perineal injuries, 4 mothers said they did not know that consuming boiled egg whites could heal perineal wounds. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of consuming boiled egg whites in healing perineal suture wounds in postpartum mothers. This type of research uses a pre-experimental design with a Quasy Experiment Design approach in July-November 2022 at TPMB Marwani SST Lampung Tengah. The independent variable in this study is the consumption of boiled egg whites, while the dependent is perineal wound healing. The population of this study were all postpartum mothers who experienced second degree perineal injuries. The sampling technique in this study was non-probability sampling, purposive sampling. The results of the bivariate analysis test used were the Mann Whiteney test with a p-value 0.009 < 0.05, which means that consumption of boiled egg whites is effective in accelerating the healing time of perineal wounds in postpartum mothers. Suggestions from researchers are that it is hoped that postpartum mothers can know how to treat perineal suture wounds so that infection does not occur and further increase their knowledge about how to treat perineal suture wounds.Keywords : Perineum Suture Wound, Postpartum, Postpartum Mother, Egg White]]>
