Abstract

Sharia banking is a bank that carries out business activities using Islamic sharia principles in collecting and distributing public funds. Sharia People's Financing Bank (BPRS) is one type of Islamic bank that can be formed by the Regional Government as a BUMD to bring benefits to regional economic development. The Local Government Law mandates that BUMD must be managed based on the principles of Good Corporate Governance. PT. BPRS Mojo Artho Kota Mojokerto is one of the BUMDs owned by Mojokerto City. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Good Corporate Governance principles on the performance of PT. BPRS Mojo Artho Mojokerto City. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. This study uses the validity technique of data tringulation as a method that guarantees the credibility of data, data obtained through interviews, observations and documents. The location of the research in Mojokerto City and the determination of research informants through purposive sampling. The results of the analysis showed. PT. BPRS Mojo Artho Kota Mojokerto has not fully implemented the principles of Good Corporate Governance properly, including transparency, accountability, responsibility, professional and fairness that must be applied in all aspects of company activities
