Abstract

The scholars of hadith that every second sacrifice to serve their Sunnah is like the rain that never stopped watering the earth, like trees that never stop giving fruit. Anyone who wants to learn to understand the hadith with a good understanding, it should never leave them. It is ironic if we as students hadith the end is not yet in need of them, does not depend on them but rather learn hadith from thinkers who incidentally never glorify Sunnah especially koran. Among the Sunnah which is quite difficult to understand the Sunnah that among each other mentioned hadith contradict each other or mukhtalif. For the layman who does not have a strong faith would have negative thinking and may throw accusations to the Sunnah of the Prophet Muh}ammad as a speaker. Therefore, the scholars of hadith not remain silent in the face of many traditions who come to our mukhtalif. Scholars of hadith and then formulate the rules that are perfect to understand the h}adîth mukhtalif

Abstract

The phenomenon of overclaims in the skincare industry on social media is the focus of this research because it has an impact on consumer trust and the possibility of disinformation. The selection of this topic is based on an increasing number of exaggerated claims that raise concerns about the health of users that are not supported by scientific evidence. The hypothesis is that honesty contained in Islam can be used to overcome the practice of overclaiming. This research was conducted qualitatively by conducting interviews with customers and industry players and analyzing the content of various social media posts. A study found that many skincare brands often make excessive promises to attract attention, which ultimately leads to dissatisfied customers and a loss of trust. The study also found that people need to be educated about the importance of accurate and honest information when choosing skincare products. The results show that applying the values of honesty is not only important in da'wah but also in contemporary business practices. Therefore, the findings of this study contribute significantly to the advancement of da'wah communication and ethical practices in the cosmetics industry, as well as encourage industry players to be more responsible in providing information to consumers.

Abstract

The cancel culture phenomenon on social media encourages people to quickly judge and boycott individuals without an adequate clarification process, which is contrary to Islamic teachings regarding justice and information verification (tabayyun). This research aims to examine cancel culture from a hadith perspective, especially in the context of judgment ethics in the digital era. Using qualitative methods with a content analysis approach to several hadiths, this research found that the Prophet's teachings recommend caution in disseminating information and prohibition of making judgments without a clear basis. These hadiths teach that a Muslim must try to understand the context and facts thoroughly before passing judgment or acting. Analysis shows that actions in cancel culture often violate these principles, by prioritizing prejudice, emotion and social pressure over fair and wise judgment, as recommended by the hadith. This research contributes to providing guidance for the community to use social media wisely in accordance with Islamic teachings, as well as assisting authorities and religious institutions in formulating ethical guidelines for the use of social media in the midst of the rampant cancel culture phenomenon.

Abstract

This research examines the role of hadith in shaping the ethics of using social media among Generation Z. Gen Z, who grew up in the digital era, is very familiar with technology and social media, but often lacks strong ethical guidelines in using these platforms. In this context, hadith as a source of Islamic moral teachings provide important guidance regarding ethical behavior, including interactions on social media. Hadiths such as authentic Muslim history no. 64 teaches the importance of guarding one's words and deeds, which is relevant to today's digital ethics. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive-analytical approach to understand the challenges of digital ethics among Gen Z and how hadith can provide relevant guidance in facing these challenges. The research results show that hadith teachings can be applied in a modern context as a guide for the younger generation to use social media wisely, responsibly and ethically. Hadith not only teaches to avoid negative behavior such as slander and hate speech, but also encourages the spread of goodness in cyberspace. By applying hadith values, it is hoped that Gen Z can become more responsible social media users and contribute positively to society.

Abstract

Everyone has different criteria when it comes to choosing a life partner. In the Sunan Al-Darimi, index number 2216, the Prophet mentioned four good criteria to consider: religion, appearance, wealth, and lineage. The issue arises when this hadith is understood only textually, implying that men have the authority to choose a partner while women do not. Therefore, it becomes interesting to examine the meaning of this hadith using the Mubadalah theory. This study employs a qualitative method, using the Sunan al-Dārimī as the primary source. The research becomes even more intriguing as it includes a case study of several communities in Dengok village, Lamongan, where the tradition of women proposing to men first is still practiced. The findings of this research show that the hadith in Sunan al-Dārimī, index number 2216, is authentic and can be used as a valid argument. Some communities in Dengok village, Lamongan, practice the tradition of women proposing to men for various reasons, one of which is the belief that men are the breadwinners of the family. When this tradition is linked to the hadith in Sunan al-Dārimī, index number 2216, and its meaning is reconstructed using the Mubādalah theory, it can be justified. A strong argument for this is that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) himself was once proposed to by a woman named Siti Khadijah.
