<![CDATA[AbstractThe present generation is facing a situation that was not seen by the generation of the last decade. This generation was born with the prolificacy of information technology which have heavily shifted their morals and has the potential to leave the church in the future. If the church doesn’t give attention to the youth ministry, it is certain that the church will lose its leadership's successor and affect on the future of the church itself. The issue that will be discussed in this study is the exact way of pastoralism, that is, the holistic and contextual way, in terms of handling of present generation. Hopefully the church’s pastors can understand the crucial things that is important in bringing back the youth to the church so that the youth can come forth as the mirror reflection of the future of the church itself. Abstrak Generasi muda masa kini menghadapi situasi yang tidak sama dengan generasi pada dekade sebelumnya. Generasi muda masa kini terlahir dengan teknologi informasi yang sangat deras di tangan mereka sehingga telah menggeser nilai-nilai moral kehidupan dan berpotensi meninggalkan gereja di masa depan. Apabila gereja tidak memberi fokus kepada pelayanan generasi muda maka dapat dipastikan gereja akan kehilangan tongkat estafet kepemimpinannya dan mempengaruhi masa depan gereja itu sendiri. Oleh sebab itu masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana tindak penggembalaan yang tepat yaitu yang holistik dan kontekstual dalam menangani generasi muda pada masa kini. Dengan terjawabnya rumusan masalah, diharapkan penggembalaan gereja memahami hal-hal krusial yang berperan penting dalam rangka mengembalikan generasi muda kepada gereja sehingga generasi muda akan tampil sebagai cerminan masa depan gereja itu sendiri.]]>
