Abstract

The objective of this study was to enhance the social-emotional abilities of Group A children at RA Annidhomiyah in Cirebon Regency through the activity of a treasure hunt game. The research method used was classroom action research, with data collection through observation and documentation during the research process. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively through data triangulation and observation persistence, while quantitative data analysis utilized class averages and percentages. The results of the study showed that prior to the intervention, the social-emotional abilities of Group A children at RA Annidhomiyah in Cirebon Regency had not reached the expected developmental level. However, after implementing the treasure hunt game activity, there was a significant improvement in the social-emotional abilities of these children. The improvement in social-emotional abilities was evident from the obtained results. In the pre-cycle stage, only about 28% achieved the expected lower limit. However, this increased to 55% in the first cycle. After improvements were made in the second cycle, there was an 83% increase in social-emotional abilities, surpassing the minimum achievement level set in this study, which was ? 80%. Therefore, the intervention was stopped in the second cycle as it was considered successful. In conclusion, it can be inferred that through the activity of a treasure hunt game, there was an enhancement in the social-emotional abilities of Group A children at RA Annidhomiyah in Cirebon Regency.

Abstract

Gross motor development is a development related to the ability to use large muscles. This can be seen in the development of children's gross motor skills which are still lacking in the activities they do, one of which is jumping with variations of spinning, jumping with variations of running and jumping with variations of jumping, this game maintains body balance when playing the game of jumping and carrying flowers. The aim to be achieved in this research is to find out whether jumping with flowers can improve the gross motor skills of young children in group A at RA Assalafiyah Jatirenggang, Cirebon Regency. The research approach used is classroom action research with a qualitative research type. This research uses a research design based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model which is composed of four stages. This research is classroom action research using a model consisting of 2 cycles focused on children's gross motor development activities with a total of 15 students. The results of the research show that the game of jumping and carrying flowers with variations of spinning, jumping and running can improve children's gross motor skills. Students who were able to jump in the Pre-Cycle were 29%, 53% in Cycle 1 and 84% in Cycle II.

Abstract

This research was motivated by initial observations at RA Al Manar Harjamukti Cirebon, children's expressive language skills still have difficulties. This condition can be seen when children are given the opportunity to respond when questioning and answering with the teacher and telling stories in front of the class are still shy and not confident. This study aims to determine the improvement of expressive language skills with storytelling methods in group B children of RA Al Manar Harjamukti Cirebon for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is a Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were 18 people consisting of 9 boys and 9 girls. The study was conducted in two cycles. Each stage of the cycle consists of planning, execution, observation and reflection. The data collection technique used is by observation. The results showed an increase in children's expressive language skills with the storytelling method. This is shown from observational data in pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. In Pre-Cycle Action by 36.1%, it increased in cycle I to 43.5% and in cycle II it increased to 84.7%. The conclusion of this study is that the storytelling method can improve expressive language skills in group B RA Al Manar Harjamukti Cirebon children.
