Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research is: to find out how to increase the ability to recognize numbers through a number card media game in group B at Kindergarten, North Rahong Utara in 2022/2023. The research subjects were group B TK Negeri Rahong Utara, North Rahong Utara, Manggarai district, in the academic year 2022/2023, which consisted of 26 TK of 12 boys and 14 girls with an average age of 5 years.This research was conducted in group B of North Rahong Utara, North Rahong Utara, Manggarai district, which is the place of assignment of researchers where this kindergarten is located in the Ruteng Watu Benta 3 Middle School environment and is adjacent to the north of residents' houses, to the south of Watu Benta Elementary School.This research was conducted using two cycles, with each cycle held 3 meetings. This research was conducted for approximately three months, from June to July. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of number card media can increase activity and the ability to recognize numbers through number card media activities in group B children in North Rahong Utara Kindergarten. This increase can be seen from the acquisition of children's activity scores, teacher activity and class average scores and the level of classical completeness in each cycle has increased in cycle I and cycle II.

Abstract

The problems found in this study regarding the introduction of low cognitive ability in numbers. The purpose of this research was to study the improvement within cognitive ability in the introduction of numbers after the application of the playing method using the number puzzle media to the B1 group children during the second semester or the academic year 2020/2021 in TK Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Dawan. This type of study is a classroom action-based research which was carried out in two cycles with 15 children as the subjects during the second semester or the academic 2020/2021. The data on the cognitive in the introduction of numbers were collected by observation method with observation forms as the instrument. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis method and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The result of the data analysis shows that there was 70,5% improvement for the cognitive ability in the introduction of numbers with the application of the playing method in the first cycle, which can be categorized as average. An improvement into 87,16% was also found in the second cycle which can be categorized as high.

Abstract

One of the roles of a teacher is to create a conducive ang enjoyable learning atmosphere, thereby increasing children’s interest in participating in learning activities. However, the observed reality at TK Mawar Sari Binaan Maleipea is that the students are not interested in participating in the early learning activities, which also affects subsequent learning activities. To address this issue, teachers play a significant role in enhancing students’ interest in participating in the early learning activities. This is the primary focus that the researcher in interested in investigating, leading to the necessity for conducting a study with the title: The Role of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Teachers in Enhancing Students’ Interest to Participate in Early Learning Activities at TK Mawar Sari Binaan Maleipea. With the formulation of the problem, namely what is the teacher's role in increasing students' interest in participating in early learning activities at Mawar Sari Kindergarten Fostered by Maleiea? The purpose of this writing is to find out the teacher's role in increasing students' interest in participating in early learning activities. This research was carried out in the TK Mawar Sari Fostered by Maleipea and the research subjects were assigned to 4 teachers. Data collection techniques are interviews and observation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the teacher's role in increasing students' interest in participating in early learning activities was very successful. This can be seen from the teacher's role from the five aspects of children's abilities, namely aspects of concentration, cognitive aspects, emotional aspects, language aspects and social aspects. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the role of the TK Mawar Sari Fostered Maleipea teacher in increasing students' interest in participating in early learning activities.

Abstract

One of the teaching areas for kindergarten children is learning the alphabet. The introduction to letters is crucially taught because if one of the language activities is reading, then the absolute requirement for a child to read is to recognize letters first. This article aims to explain the efforts that can be made to improve alphabet recognition using the method of playing letter cards. The problem investigated in this research is how to enhance the ability to recognize letters among children in Group A of TK Kemala Bhayangkari Ruteng. This study employs the Classroom Action Research technique, and the number of research subjects is 20 children, consisting of 8 females and 12 males. The research results indicate that the effort of alphabet recognition using the method of playing letter cards makes children more interested in the learning process activities and enhances their language skills. There is an improvement from Cycle I to Cycle II, and the learning process becomes more enjoyable for the children as they are delighted and actively engaged in playing and arranging the letter cards.

Abstract

The purpose of this class action research is to increase the creativity of group B children at the Pembina State Kindergarten, Dawan District. The research subjects were the children of Group B of Pembina State Kindergarten, Dawan District, which consisted of 15 children. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The data collection technique used is observation in the form of observation sheets, documentation, works. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Based on the results of the discussion that has been described previously, it can be concluded that playing plasticine from clay can increase creativity in students. This can be seen in the increase in frequency and percentage that occurred in the initial condition of 15 children, only 3 people got a score of 2 (20%), in cycle I it increased to 6 people got a score of 2 (40%) and 9 people got a score of 3 (60%) then in cycle II it increased again to 12 students got a score of 3 and a score of 4 (80%).
