AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) menghasilkan produk LKS Discussion Activity berbasis PEKA agar layak untuk prosespembelajaran fisika pada materi pokok Suhu dan Kalor, dan (2) mengetahui tingkat ketercapaian keterampilan proses danpemahaman konsep siswa pada materi pokok Suhu dan Kalor dengan menggunakan LKS Discussion Activity berbasis PEKA.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan RD (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model4D.Tahap def ine merupakan tahap awal untuk mendefinisikan permasalahan. Tahap design dilakukan denganmengembangkan rancangan awal LKS Discussion Activity dan instrumen penelitian. Tahap develope dilakukan untukmenghasilkan LKS Discussion Activity yang layak serta untuk mengetahui tingkat keterampilan proses dan pemahamankonsep siswa. Kelayakan LKS Discussion Activity dilihat dari skor skala 5 dari hasil validasi validator, reliabilitas AlfaCronbach hasil pekerjaan siswa terhadap LKS Discussion Activity, dan hasil respon siswa menggunakan skor skala lima.Tingkat keterampilan proses dilihat dari pekerjaan siswa pada LKS Discussion Activity, sedangkan pemahaman konsep siswadilihat dari skor posttest siswa. Tahap disseminate dilakukan untuk penyebaran LKS Discussion Activity dalam skala yangluas.Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini adalah : (1) produk LKS Discussion Activity layak dengan kategori sangat baik,berdasarkan hasil Reliabilitas Alfa Cronbach LKS Discussion Activity mempunyai tingkat reliabilitas sangat tinggi, sertahasil respon siswa dengan kategori baik. Tingkat ketercapaian keterampilan proses siswa mempunyai nilai rata-rata dengankategori baik. Tingkat ketercapaian pemahaman konsep siswa siswa SMA N 7 Yogyakarta pada materi pokok Suhu danKalor dengan menggunakan LKS Discussion Activity berbasis PEKA berdasarkan nilai posttest mempunyai nilai rata-ratadengan kategori baik.Kata Kunci: LKS, PEKA, Discussion Activity, Suhu dan KalorAbstractThis research is aimed to: (1) produce worksheet’s Discussion Activity based on Sciene Practical Work Assesment so that itwill be feasible for the learning process for temperature and heat materials in physics subject, and (2) f ind out theachievement of process skills and concept understanding of temperature and heat materials using the Assessment ofworksheet’s Discussion Activity based on Sciene Practical Work Assesment.This study is a research and development using the 4D .The def ine stage is the early stage in def ining the problems. Thedesign stage is done by developing the plan f or the worksheet’s Discussion Activity and the research insteruments. Thedevelop stage is done to produce f easible worksheet’s Discussion Activity and also to f ind out the students’ achievement ofprocess skills and concept understanding. The f easibility of the worksheet’s Discussion Activity is observed f rom 5 scale scoreof the validator’s results, Alf a Cronbach’s reliability of students’ worksheet’s Discussion Activity results, and students’responses using f ive scale score. The level of process skills can be seen f rom students’ works in the worksheet’s DiscussionActivity while the concept understanding can be seen f rom the students’ posttest scores. The disseminate stage is done t odistribute worksheet’s Discussion Activity in a large scale.The results of this research and development are: (1) the worksheet’s Discussion Activity product is f easible f or the physicslearning process have the excellent categories, , based on the result of Alf a Crobach’s reliability, worksheet’s DiscussionActivity 1, 2, and 3 have high reliability, also the students’ responses have the categories goo. The average score forachievement of process skills is good, while the posttest average in 5 scale score f or concept understanding’s achievement ofthe SMA N 7 Yogyakarta’s students in temperature and heat materials using worksheet’s Discussion Activity based onAssessment of Practical Work in Science is good.Keywords: worksheet, Sciene Practical Work Assesment, Discussion Activity, temperature and heat
