Abstract

A servant leadership has a distinctive leadership character. The virtue of hisleadership is the growth and prosperity of the people and communities he isin. The strength of his leadership is to place the needs of others first and helppeople grow as high as possible. The leadership character of servant leadershipis inherent in the person of a priest. The Priest has the power of leadershipclosely connected with his identity as an ordained person. The identity ofa priest is a ministerial priesthood that serves the Church and Society. Theleadership of a priest characterized servant leadership is missed by peoplein Meratus mountains. The presence of the shepherd character of servantleadership is a desire to improve the quality of priests and their church life.

Abstract:We often understand about mystical life erroneously. It is sometimes think thatthe mystical phenomenon is a misconduct that originates in a pagan worldthat poison the source of pure water derived from Scripture. When we hear theword “Mystic”, we think that mystic is something high or a special charismathat is only given to certain people. But actually, the mystical experience isgiven to all the Christians. All Christians call to come into mystical life by ablessing of baptism. Mystic life is the deepest longing of a soul.

Abstract

Undeniably, the current natural charm is much damaged by various formsof exploitation. This real situation awakens a new awareness to the worldcommunity, including the Church, to voice its care in protecting nature. TheChurch voiced its prophetic tone, one of which is revealed in the encyclicalof Pope John Paul II, Sollicitudo Rei Socialis (SRS). SRS reveals that theemergence of Exploitation is caused by humans who lose respect for nature.

Abstract

Dengan judul artikel seperti ini, penulis tidak berarti menegasi hal-hal positif dari globalisasi. Harus diakui pengaruh globalisasi telah memberikan banyak kemajuan dan kemudahan bagi banyak segi kehidupan orang zaman sekarang.Tetapi, yang hendak penulis soroti dalam artikel ini lebih pada sisi negatifnya. Tidak dapat dipungkiri, globalisasi juga mempunyai dampak negatif bagi kehidupan orang zaman ini. Secara khusus, artikel ini mau menelaah dampak buruk pengaruh globalisasi bagi kaum muda, dan bagaimana upaya pastoralnya sehingga kaum muda zaman ini tidak larut dalam euforia globalisasi.

Abstract

Manusia merupakan makhluk rohani. Menyebut manusia sebagaimakhluk rohani berarti manusia yang sanggup berhubungan denganAllah, Sang Sumber hidupnya. Dengan kodrat kerohaniannya ini, manusiamampu mengenal Allah yang adalah Roh. Melalui kodrat rohani ini pula,manusia mampu menjalin relasi yang erat dengan Allah sendiri. Dalamupaya menjalin relasi yang akrab tersebut, seseorang tidak luput dariberbagai hambatan. Salah dalam mengambil keputusan atau tindakandalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan tersebut dapat berakibat burukbagi kehidupan rohani seseorang. Karena itu, langkah yang tepat dalammengatasi segala hambatan dalam perjalanan rohani adalah tekunmelakukan bimbingan rohani. Dengan bimbingan rohani, mereka yangingin berkembang dalam hidup rohani akan tetap berjalan pada koridoryang benar dan puncak hidup rohani pun tercapai. Bimbingan rohanimerupakan jalan aman mencapai puncak hidup rohani.

Abstract

Catechists in carrying out their missionary tasks have never escaped the challenges. Sometimes with the various obstacles that come make them desperate, disappointed and even slowly leave their mission duties. This fact is occurring in the Parish of St. Mikael Tamiang Layang, the diocese of Palangkaraya. Based on the data we obtained, it was found that the Catechists had various challenges in their duties. These challenges are quite disturbing their service. Nonetheless, the Spirituality of Saint Vincent de Paul has motivated them to remain steadfast and faithful to their vocation as the preacher of the word.
