Abstract

The meeting hall building in Tlogosari Wetan Village consists of one floor extending throughout the land that is still surrounded by rice fields and is predominantly constructed with reinforced concrete materials. Based on information, the building has been standing for more than 20 years. Seeing this, the Community Service Team aims to investigate the condition of the structural system and materials of the Village Hall Building. To find out the condition of the structure and building materials, and can be a follow-up for partners to improve and utilize the building. The method used in this investigation is visual observation of structural conditions and non-destructive material testing. The results of the investigation show that a review of the compressive strength characteristics of the concrete in column elements still meets the requirements for earthquake-resistant concrete materials according to SNI 2847 2019.

Abstract

Semarang is the capital of Central Java which continues to improve and improve. So the existence of residents living in bedang-bedang around Kanjengan is of concern to the Semarang City Government to be placed in relatively adequate locations. They were then moved to an area known as Pondok Boro. This location is in Trimulyo Village, Genuk, Semarang. This community service is part of the da'wah to develop science and knowledge, as well as in the context of implementing the tri dharma of higher education. The method of implementing community service is through mentoring, lectures, and training which is based on the idea of the need for moral education and legal awareness for Pondok Boro residents. Training and education process on morals and morals so that it is hoped that a society that is full of Pancasila values will grow. Values of belief in one almighty god, just and civilized humanity, values of indonesian unity, democracy led by wisdom in deliberation and/representation, and prioritizing social justice for all Indonesian people. The enthusiasm of the residents was quite good with their active participation in the training session marked by the questions asked. The activity was also continued by the Lazis Sultan Agung Volunteer Team by involving students as volunteers and teaching staff at the Al-Qur'an Reading Park at the Pondok Boro location as an integration program.

Abstract

Brambang Village, Karangawen District, experienced damage to infrastructure due to flash floods, while village officials lacked the capacity and knowledge to manage it. The purpose of this community service program is to improve village officials' ability to manage infrastructure through field reviews and Forum Group Discussions (FGD). The exercises improved the village officials' understanding and proficiency in assessing the state of the infrastructure, preparing repair plans, and overcoming damage due to disasters. Awareness of the importance of community participation also increased. This program produced concrete recommendations for repairing damaged infrastructure and is expected to be followed up immediately. With this increased capacity, Brambang village officials can manage infrastructure more effectively, delivering long-term advantages for the local community's well-being. This Community Service Program has succeeded in achieving its goals and helping to raise the community of Karangawen's standard of living.
