Abstract

Trade area sector manifestly have important role in fostering and growth of economics in a region. Palangka Raya become one of the priority of Central Kalimantan development of its one program content is development of center industrial area, service area, and trade area. Research of regional potency analysis for the development aims to determine the characteristics of trading activity in Palangka Raya, find the relationship/linkages between Palangka Raya and surrounding areas.

Abstract

Exchange rate is an important economic indicator that has a strategic role in economy. Exchange rate movement widely influence various aspects of economy. In the efforts to maintain the exchange rate stability, recognizing the factors affecting the movements is required. This research is conducted to analyze the influence of interest rate, exchange reseve, money supply, balance of payment and inflation rate to rupiah exchange rate. Data analysis was done by using Vector Error Correction Models (VECM). The result show that in short-run Bank Indonesia rate and money supply have a significant effect to rupiah exchange rate. In long-run Bank Indonesia rate, money supply, balance of payment and inflation rate have a significant effect to rupiah exchange rate.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the effect of investment, source of capital, number of projects, and sector towards labour. Type of data in this paper is pannel and secodary data. The study used data period from 2012 until 2016. The estimation methods is a multiple regression. The result shows that investment has significant effect on labour absorptiont. Every Rp1 trillion investment can absorb 621 workers. Investment in food and plantation crop sector having the highest employment absorb, where every investment in this sector able to absorb 143,320 labour. It takes the government’s policy to create a beneficial investment environment that can enlarge effect of investment towards labour.

Abstract

The village law mandates the Government to allocate village funds. Village budget allocation continues to increase every year. But now, no study has evaluated the effectiveness of village fund using villages as research units. This research is conducted to analyze the correlation between village budget and IDM. The result show that village budget and IDM has positive and significant correlation. But the correlation between village budget and IDM are very weak. This is because the development in the village financed by village funds is smaller than the development captured by IDM, the formulation used to determine the allocation of village funds, and there are factors that hinder the management of village funds.

Abstract

An evaluation was needed to see if there were significant changes to national development, after the implementation of article 31 of UUD 1945. This budget allocation is able to influence the education development in Indonesia, especially provision and equity of access to quality education. But the physical development carried out has not been followed by an increase in quality education services. A large education budget allocation is also not followed by an improvement in the quality of education.
