Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to know the correlation between brand equity and decision in buying. According to Aaker (1997), brand equity have some impact by giving assets that have values to the customer, this value will increase customer’s self confidence to buy a product. The research participants are college student of Yos Soedarso University who are 18 – 25 years old, have pocket money ≤ Rp.200.000,- per month and also have understanding about branding. The measurement tools are questionaire that uses for measuring brand equity and decision in buying. The brand equity questionaire developed by using the dimensions of brand equity from Aaker (1997). Decision in buying questionaire developed by using the dimension of decision in buying  from  Engel (1995). The result shows that there is a positive correlation between brand equity and decision making (rxy = 0.514; p ≤ 0.05). This research need to be continued with different variabel such as the correlation between brand loyalty, brand awareness or perceived quality with decision in making. Different subject and some addition in tools are good to be considered. The implication of this research are giving some advantages for the company, marketing practitioner and also for the next researcher.------------Keyword: Brand Equity; Decision in Buying; Students.

Abstract

Existence is existence, the existence of microfinance institutions in rural areas clearly has a role and implications for society. Especially in terms of socio-economic community. The existence of financial institutions, especially the banking sector, occupies a very strategic position in bridging the needs for working capital and investment in the real sector and ownership of funds. It is clear that the existence of microfinance institutions in rural areas has a very important role as a provider of services and financing. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the existence of microfinance institutions and their implications for the socio-economic community, whether there are differences in people's income before and after the existence of microfinance institutions, what is the view of Islamic economics regarding the existence of microfinance institutions and their implications for the socio-economic community. This research is classified into field research, the primary data is obtained from interviews while the secondary data is from documentation. In this study researchers used qualitative methods. The purpose of this study is to identify and explain the existence of microfinance institutions and their implications for the socio-economic community, and to find out how Islamic economics views the existence of microfinance institutions. Abstract

In Bank BRI Syariah, micro iB financing is divided into three, namely micro 25iB, micro 75iB and micro 200iB. iB microfinance is financing provided to customers who own a business and need working capital with a minimum length of business of two years which is generally individual in nature and provides loan facilities, where the borrower/finance applicant is required to provide collateral or guarantees. The purpose of this research activity is to determine the application of 5C principle analysis to the implementation of iB micro-financing by BRI Syariah KCP Sidoarjo Gateway employees and to determine the impact of implementing customer 5C on the success of iB micro-financing at BRI Syariah KCP Sidoarjo Gateway.

Abstract

Transactions through e-commerce have a high potential risk. Therefore, the vendor's ability, benevolence, and vendor integrity are key factors in e-commerce. Surabaya as a developing city and only in the last five years has adopted e-commerce, of course it has some differences from developed regions which have been practicing it for a long time. These differences at least concern regulatory issues, legal instruments, and consumer behavior. In connection with the relatively new practice of e-commerce in Surabaya, an interesting phenomenon to study is the extent to which vendors' ability, benevolence and integrity towards e-commerce vendors and how they affect the level of customer participation. in e-commerce. The aims of this study were (1) to analyze the effect of the vendor's ability, benevolence, and integrity variables on e-commerce customers in Surabaya; (2) analyzing the effect of the vendor's ability, benevolence, and integrity variables on the level of participation of e-commerce customers in Surabaya; and (3) analyzing the effect of) on the level of participation of e-commerce customers in Surabaya. This research was conducted by taking a sample of e-commerce users in Surabaya. The main instrument for data collection was a questionnaire and was measured by a Likert scale. Questionnaires were sent to respondents via a mailing list. The number of respondents in this study were 152 respondents. The data analysis method used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM). Of the three predictor variables that affect vendor ability, benevolence, and integrity, it turns out that only vendor integrity has a positive and significant influence. Meanwhile, the predictor variables that influence customer participation in e-commerce, namely vendor ability, benevolence, and integrity, are only vendor integrity variables that have a positive and significant influence. Thus, vendor integrity is a very important variable in influencing e-commerce customer participation in Surabaya.

Abstract

The Effect of Knowledge Management, Skills, Ability and Motivation on the Performance of Production Employees at Cv. Nusantara Beton Berkat Bersama Surabaya. Improving employee performance is the most important in every company, where human resources are the main component in carrying out all company production activities. This research was conducted at CV Nusantara Beton Berkat Bersama Surabaya. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Knowledge Management, Skills, Ability and Motivation on the Performance of Production Section Employees at CV. Nusantara Beton Berkat Bersama Surabaya both partially and simultaneously. population and samples in this study were all employees of the production section of CV. Nusantara Beton Berkat Bersama Surabaya which amounted to 55 employees. The terms of data analysis in this study are quantitative using the census method using the SPSS V.2 program. The results show that the variables of Knowledge Management, Skills, Ability and Motivation partially and simultaneously affect the performance of employees in the production section of CV. Nusantara Beton Berkat Bersama Surabaya. The coefficient of determination is 0.630 or 63%, this indicates that the variables of Knowledge Management, Skills, Ability and Motivation as a whole have an influence of 63% on employee performance while the remaining 37% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
