Abstract

Pengolahan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi sabun merupakan salah satu program kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat.Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dengan pengolahan limbah rumah tangga yaitu minyak jelantah menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai tambah misalkan sabun.Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di Desa Doplang Kecamatan Teras Kabupaten Boyolali.Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk mengolah limbah minyak jelantah menjadi sabun dan lilin ini dilakukan dengan metode workshop.Kegiatan pengabdian ini melibatkan Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) dari Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH).Kegiatan pengabdian ini disajikan dengan tema “Aksi Berbagi, Berbagi Aksi untuk Ekonomi Hijau”. Kegiatan ini memberikan secara aplikatif akan memberikan pengalaman bagi peserta untuk ikut terlibat secara langsung dalam kegiatan pengolahan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi sabun yang dilakukan oleh Kelompok Swadaya Masyarakat Kampung Asri yang terletak di Desa Doplang, Kecamatan Teras, Kabupaten Boyolali. Hasil kegiatan ini untuk memberikan wawasan praktik lapangan pengelolaan sampah kepada akademisi, masyarakat umum, dan komunitas peduli lingkungan dalam kaitannya dengan integrasi Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi.

Abstract

Nglurah Tourism Village is one of the tourist villages located on the slopes of Mount Lawu, Tawangmangu District, Karanganyar Regency. This tourist village is known as a tourist village that has various tourism potentials, both natural potential, cultural potential, and also man-made potential. This research aims to analyze how the concept of Community Based Tourism (CBT) is applied in Nglurah Tourism Village, as well as its impact on the local community with five (5) principles put forward by UNEP and WTO, namely economic principles, social principles, cultural principles, political principles, and environmental principles as indicators. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study show that the application of the CBT concept in Nglurah Tourism Village has brought positive impacts to the local community, such as local economic development, preservation of local traditions and culture, and increased community participation in tourism management. In addition, the CBT concept also strengthens the relationship between local communities, and improves the quality of life of the community. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the CBT concept in Nglurah Tourism Village is quite active and has a significant positive impact on various aspects of community life and the local community can be said to be ready for tourism activities.

Abstract

This era's rapid development has had a significant impact on all aspects of life, both socially and economically, as well as culturally. Local wisdom is everything that characterizes a region, whether in the form of food, customs, dances, songs, or regional ceremonies. Tawangmangu is located on the slopes at the foot of Mount Lawu, precisely in Karanganyar regency. Grebeg Lawu, which is an annual event, is held in the context of the anniversary of Karanganyar Regency, which is celebrated with dance performances, ludruk, ketoprak, wayangan, and also kawaritan. The method used is qualitative. Data collection is carried out by observation and in-depth review regarding the preservation of Grebeg Lawu local wisdom in the Tawangmangu area. The Bukit Pengharapan Christian Business and Technology Institute has made a commitment to preserving local wisdom in Tawangmangu. The purpose of holding Grebeg Lawu is to introduce local wisdom in Tawangmangu to the wider community, with all the characteristics that exist in Tawangmangu, so that Tawangmangu has the characteristics separately to display the beauty that is in it.
