Abstract

Computational fluid dynamics (KDF) is a commonly used method to solve physics cases that have the advantage of reducing operating costs, especially in the study of cooling systems in engines. In this study, the engine cooling system observed was located at the Diesel Power Plant (PLTD), Batakan. The cooling system on the engine has several important components that affect performance, one of which is the radiator. The condition of the radiator is observed with different fin designs, namely ideal conditions with fins (100%), 75%, and 50%. KDF helps to provide a detailed analysis of the performance of the engine cooling system. Under ideal conditions, the value of the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet in high temperature (HT) and low temperature (LT) pipes is 220C. From this study gave results, the condition of the radiator fins that were not ideal resulted in a decrease in temperature difference between the inlet and outlet in the HT and LT pipes.

Abstract

This research was conducted to design a modeling that is used to build an Android-based Tajweed science learning system. The method used in the development of the Android-based Tajweed science learning system is the waterfall method. The learning system that was built adopted several components of LTSA. The system that was built focuses on the achievement of learning materials Tajweed science as part of the overall learning process. To design the system modeling in this study, UML was used. After the system design is complete, the design is implemented into Java coding which will later be exported into an apk that can be installed on an Android device. the results show that the system can run well on Android version 5.0, all features in the system can run well and in accordance with the design of the system designed with UML. Learning of Tajweed knowledge based on Android makes it easier to learn because it can overcome the learning of Tajweed science which is physically not possible and overcome the limitations of time, place and access. UML modeling is very suitable to be used in design to design a system model used in the application of the study of recitation.

Abstract

Children are a gift from God that is inseparable from the survival of a nation, so their existence must be protected from everything that can damage them physically or mentally. Children who are victims of criminal acts of human trafficking should be treated like victims who should be protected by the government through existing laws and regulations so that child victims are no longer victims in a legal process with its various dynamics. Compensation for child victims in criminal acts of human trafficking based on the value of justice is realized through compensation. Compensation from the state is given in the event that the perpetrator of the crime of trafficking in persons is unable to pay restitution and the victim is a child, then the restitution can be replaced by providing compensation from the state to the child victim. Furthermore, with the concept of compensation in the form of compensation for child victims, reconstruction of article 48 of Law no. 21 of 2007 concerning the Eradication of the Crime of Human Trafficking, namely the addition of paragraph 8 (eight) in article 48 which states: "In the event that the perpetrator of the criminal act of human trafficking is unable to pay restitution while the victim is a child, the restitution can be replaced by providing compensation from the state towards the victim's children or their heirs

Abstract

Karomah Holistic Hospital is a healthcare facility committed to providing high-quality and efficient medical services to the community. To enhance patient convenience in accessing healthcare services, an Android-based outpatient registration application has been developed. This application enables patients to register online, reduce physical queues, and provide more structured information regarding doctor schedules, room availability, and laboratory and radiology test results. The development of this application utilized the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application was developed using the Kotlin programming language with Jetpack Compose as the user interface framework and supported by WorkManager to manage the delivery of appointment reminder notifications. User Acceptance Testing of the application demonstrated that it is easy for patients to use and helps them access healthcare services more quickly and conveniently. With this application, it is hoped that patients will experience more efficient and comfortable service at Karomah Holistic Hospital.Keywords: Clinic registration; Android; Jetpack compose; Workmanager; Waterfall AbstrakRumah Sakit Karomah Holistic adalah fasilitas layanan Kesehatan yang berkomitmen untuk memberikan pelayanan medis yang berkualitas dan efisien kepada masyarakat. Untuk meningkatkan kemudahan pasien dalam mengakses layanan kesehatan, dikembangkan aplikasi pendaftaran poliklinik berbasis Android. Aplikasi ini memungkinkan pasien untuk melakukan pendaftaran secara online, mengurangi antrean fisik, serta memberikan informasi yang lebih terstruktur terkait jadwal dokter, ketersediaan kamar, dan hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium maupun radiologi. Pengembangan aplikasi ini menggunakan metode Waterfall, yang mencakup tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Aplikasi dikembangkan dengan bahasa pemrograman Kotlin menggunakan Jetpack Compose sebagai framework antarmuka pengguna, serta didukung oleh WorkManager untuk mengatur pengiriman notifikasi pengingat jadwal pemeriksaan. Pengujian aplikasi menggunakan metode User Acceptance Test menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini mudah digunakan oleh pasien dan membantu mereka dalam mengakses layanan kesehatan secara lebih cepat dan praktis. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, diharapkan pasien dapat merasakan pengalaman layanan yang lebih efisien dan nyaman di Rumah Sakit Karomah Holistic.
