Abstract

This research discusses the teachings of ethics and morals contained within the letters of Paul in the New Testament. The main focus of this study is to explore the ethical and moral values taught by Paul within the context of his letters and their relevance to modern society. Textual and contextual analysis methods are employed to identify the moral principles emphasized by Paul in various aspects of life, including interpersonal relationships, social responsibility, and personal integrity. The research findings indicate that Paul's letters contain ethical guidelines rooted in Christian principles, such as love, humility, and forgiveness. These teachings are analyzed within the cultural and social context of their writing, and are connected to the ethical challenges faced by modern society. Despite being written thousands of years ago, the moral principles taught by Paul remain relevant in addressing contemporary ethical issues, such as business ethics, human rights, and the environment. This study provides insights into how the teachings of ethics and morals in Paul's letters can be applied and adapted within the context of modern society. The practical implications of this research are to encourage further reflection on the values inherited from Paul's teachings and how these values can shape the perspectives and actions of society in facing current moral challenges.

Abstract

The gift of holiness manifested in Hebrews 12:28 is the essence of the inspiration that enriches and guides the Christian faith. This message teaches us about the urgency to live with deep respect for a holy God, not only in formal worship rituals, but also in everyday aspects. It encourages us to raise moral standards, pursue holiness, and live according to God's will. More than that, the gift of holiness reminds us of the power inherent in devotion to a holy God. When we realize that we serve a God of absolute power and unshakable holiness, we gain the confidence and perseverance necessary to face the trials and challenges of life. our life's journey It is a much-needed source of inspiration in a world that is often full of trials and uncertainty

This article explores Hebrews 5:11-14 as the main source for understanding the warning against apostasy in the Christian context. Through a text exegesis approach, this article outlines the key messages contained in the article, focusing on the threat of apostasy and the importance of maintaining the faith. In addition, this article also explores the relevance of this warning in the context of modern spiritual life and how this message can provide guidance for people. believe to strengthen and maintain their faith. Abstract

The tongue is sharper than a sword, meaning that whatever comes out of a person's mouth will definitely have the effect of killing someone physically, mentally and spiritually. Therefore, as a human being, you must be careful not to harm yourself or others. Even though The tongue physically feels soft because it has no bones, but if the tongue's ability to speak is not used wisely, the tongue becomes sharper than a sword. The tongue is able to cut and tear hearts without harming anyone's body. The tongue is sharper than a sword, which means we have to be careful in every word we say so as not to harm ourselves. The sin of the tongue is a sin that comes out of the mouth and is expressed in words that offend other people's feelings. Language is only a small part, but language can also detect a person's physical condition through speech like the one above. This means that someone can find out whether another person is an adult or not, all of this can be known through their words. With his tongue, man praises God's name, but with the same tongue, he curses creatures created in the image and likeness of God. It is in the same language that blessings and curses come (James 3: 1-12), where James emphasizes: "My brothers, this must not happen to you" (James 3: 1-12). James reminds Christians who are teachers to be careful in their words, because being a teacher is very difficult (James 3:-1). Christians must control their pronunciation, because they cannot avoid making mistakes in the words that come out of their mouths, because this can have positive and negative impacts. The purpose of writing is to try to find answers to important research. The purpose of writing this thesis is first of all to help readers understand how to use language through appropriate words.

Abstract

For centuries, Christianity has experienced very serious problems regarding the doctrine of Christology. Until now, this problem is still a matter of polemic and debate, both among theologians, the Church, and even ordinary congregations. Often the errors regarding Christological doctrine stem from the understanding of Adoptionism. Where they assume that Jesus was appointed as the Son of God and has no equality in the relationship of teh Trinity. Of course, this wrong assumption affects the people and destroys true faith. So it is important for God’s people to have a foundation of faith that holds firmly to God’s infallible revelation. So that every believer has a shield of faith that is strong and can stand the test. In this way God’s people can silence misleading teachings such as Adoptionism.

Abstract

in general from the first century to date, has a lot of deviant teaching from the Bible. Teaching that deviates and is able to shaken the faith of Christians, this can happen if Christians do not hold fast to their faith that he believes in Jesus Christ as the Savior, the research method carried out is a description that can sought how Christians understand the arrival Antichrist and how to reactly perverts, namely first: test the Spirit; Second: Know the Spirit of God and third: know the status of the Son of God.
