<![CDATA[Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan keefektifan model example non-example dalam pembelajaran menyajikan teks deskripsi dengan media gambar bertema objek wisata sejarah, (2) mendeskripsikan keefektifan model picture and picture dalam pembelajaran menyajikan teks deskripsi dengan media gambar bertema objek wisata sejarah, (3) mendeskripsikan model yang lebih efektif antara model example non-example dan model picture and picture dalam pembelajaran menyajikan teks deskripsi dengan media gambar bertema objek wisata sejarah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu, eksperimen semu dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu, 1) model example non-example efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menyajikan teks deskripsi dengan media gambar bertema objek wisata sejarah, 2) model picture and picture efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menyajikan teks deskripsi dengan media gambar bertema objek wisata sejarah, 3) model picture and picture lebih efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menyajikan teks deskripsi dengan media gambar bertema objek wisata sejarah dengan signifikasi (Sig. 2-tailed) 0,012<0,05. Kata kunci: model example non-example, model picture and picture, teks deskripsi, dan media gambar bertema objek wisata sejarah Abstract The purpose of this study are (1) to describe the effectiveness of the example non-example model in the lesson of providing descriptive text with picture media themed historical attractions, (2) to describe the effectiveness of the picture and picture model in the lesson of providing descriptive text with picture media themed historical attractions, (3) to describe model which is more effective between example non-example model and picture and picture model in the lesson of providing descriptive text with picture media themed historical attractions. The research method that used is quasi eksperiment with the design form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The result of this study are 1) example nonexample model is effectively used in learning to present descriptive text with picture media themed historical attractions, 2) picture and picture model is effectively used in learning to present descriptive text with picture media themed historical attractions, 3) picture and picture model more effectively used in learning to present descriptive text with picture media themed historical attractions with significance (Sig. 2-tailed) 0,012<0,05.
