Abstract

Currently, the Tiktok application is one of the most widely used social media platforms for digital marketing activities. Tiktok is a social media platform that provides a place for its users to be able to express and be creative through video content. This Tiktok account with the name @kbggwp is an example of a Tiktok account being used as a promotional medium and creating Mobile Legends content as a medium for popularizing the online game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The account contains various information and various interesting video content about Mobile Legends. This study aims to determine how much influence Mobile Legends content on Tiktok has on the popularity of the Mobile Legends game with variable X namely Mobile Legends content on Tiktok and variable Y namely the popularity of Mobile Legends game. In this study, researchers used research theories and concepts, namely marketing communication theory, branding, popularity, Tiktok social media and online games. The research method used is quantitative and a survey of 100 respondents as a sample with a questionnaire research instrument. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was a positive and significant effect of the Mobile Legends content variable on Tiktok and the Y variable, namely the popularity of the Mobile Legends game by 56.8%. Aplikasi Tiktok merupakan salah satu media sosial yang saat ini banyak digunakan dalam berbagai kegiatan pemasaran. Aplikasi Tiktok dapat digunakan oleh para penggunanya dengan menciptakan konten-konten video yang bervariasi. Akun Tiktok dengan nama @kbggwp ini menajdi salah satu contoh akun Tiktok yang digunakan sebagai media promosi dan membuat konten Mobile Legends sebagai media mempopulerkan game online Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.  Akun tersebut berisi mengenai berbagai informasi serta berbagai konten video menarik seputar Mobile Legends. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh konten Mobile Legends di Tiktok terhadap popularitas game Mobile Legends dengan variabel X yakni konten Mobile Legends di Tiktok dan variabel Y yakni popularitas game Mobile Legends. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan teori dan konsep penelitian, yakni teori komunikasi pemasaran, branding, popularitas, media sosial Tiktok dan game online. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa kuantitatif serta survei terhadap 100 responden sebagai sampel dengan instrument penelitian kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari variabel konten Mobile Legends di Tiktok dan variabel Y yakni popularitas game Mobile Legends sebesar 56,8%.
